A unique feature of the RAH-66 Comanche is it’s ability to stow away it’s gun turret which helps in reducing drag for higher speeds and in reducing the overall RCS of the aircraft. However in-game it does not have this feature.
In AGARD ADA328540 AGARD LECTURE SERIES 209 Helicopter/Weapon System Integration:
ADA328540 (Unlassified and unlimited distribution)

On PDF page 128 it states “The Comanche gun is configured to stow aft in the fairing behind the gun turret reducing drag during high-speed operations.”
The process of this is talked about on Boeing Sikorsky Archives - RAH-66 Comanche where it says, “It could rotate 180º for stowing in a low observable position”.
There is also a diagram of the turret's shooting angles and the fairing in which the turret would stow itself

Why should this be a feature in-game?
I believe this should be a feature in-game as it makes the RAH-66 depiction we have more realistic and adds to it’s authenticity. It also adds the gimmick of being the only helicopter with a retractable gun. As mentioned in the AGARD report retracting the gun reduces the aerodynamic drag on the aircraft which will allow it to achieve higher speeds which can be crucial in an aircraft that does not have countermeasures and relies on being quick. Another bonus is that it also helps to further reduce the Comanche’s radar cross section which would help it to stay undetected while traversing the battlefield.
