For this one, we’re primarily talking about the A-10A, A-10A Late, Su-25, Su-25K and A-6E TRAM, which populate these Battle Ratings in Air Battles and have all-aspect missiles. The flight performance characteristics of these aircraft after expending air-to-air missiles does not allow them to fight equally with aircraft that have higher speeds and thrust-to-weight ratios, which is why these aircraft can only effectively fight with aircraft that have similar characteristics.

Why must GROUND ATTACKERS be comparable to fighters in air-to-air combat, even in an Air mode?

They are causing HUGE problems for every flareless and/or subsonic aircraft that can see them, which has caused the F-104A to move to a ridiculous BR of 9.3 and subsequently caused Korean War-era fighters (Sabre/MiG-15) to now face early jets from WW2 era.

They should be moved up OR lose those all-aspect missiles.

You guys can’t not be serious with the Su25/k and the premium A10. If they are.kot going higher in BR, why not removing their all aspect capabilities? 9G to the A10 and R60 to the Su25s, make it at least some kind of time taking to get a kill from a flareless plane, from the many, flare less planes

The decision to not downtier the other tornadoes is quite confusing. They basically have the same air-to-air loadouts and their guided ordinance do not contribute to that mode at all. All of them carry 2 sidewinders and the same bomb payload.

They’re not even comparable,… i’ve done better in my A-10A fighter mode, than with any other US fighter of similar BR.

A-6 can carry a gunpod and 3 AIM-9Ls. It has no lack of offensive weaponry.

They’re quite effective in Ground Battles.

Highly doubt that, any one who used Maverick would says otherwise, especially against MBT, if not lock on wreckage(65D only).

However, on the economy side of things, the Battle Rating of bomb carriers — which are discussed in many topics — are optimal or even underestimated. This means that their weak capabilities for air combat doesn’t prevent them from receiving on average a good or even great reward. As noted above, the average reward is one of the main factors in determining the Battle Rating of a vehicle. Therefore in order for us to be able to reduce the Battle Rating of these aircraft while maintaining healthy economic progression, the rewards for damaging and destroying bases would need to be reduced so that the average reward (the effectiveness) of bombers and fighters is equalized.

We fully realise that a change like this will not receive any support from players who are asking for a reduction in Battle Ratings at the current average reward values.

Therefore in the summer, we’re planning to give more clarification and bring this issue up for discussion — whether or not we should reduce the rewards for bases in order to reduce the Battle Rating of aircraft that mainly bomb bases, or leave everything as it is now. Heavy bombers have already been crushed into the dirt, attackers hit the bases long before they can and gaijin changing respawn of them from 30 seconds to 4:30 means they have nothing left and thanks to top tier premium base rushers they are looking at potentially another nerf if they actually make it to a base?

How has the base respawn nerf not already knocked down the rewards as a whole since only the fastest manage to hit them leaving nothing for the rest?

How is it the hardest one to use? Literally all you do is fly in a straight line, press one button and die
Bombers should be removed from the game completely, or be made a very unimportant part of the game session

I dont care for higher ups, but looking forward to the low Rank changes, like the Bf 110 C-6 which sits at 3.0, while there are at least 4 better alternatives at the same and lower Br.

It may be good at Bomber hunting in ARB because of its Powerfull 30 mm Mk 101, but other performance beyond the gun isnt really all that good in GRB, when allready the C-7 (which is better in multiple aspects) sits at 2.7.
