At this point I’d much rather play the T14…
They have the best of all worlds pretty much.
The Pz. 4 is a 3.7 with 145mm pen? And once you unlock the armor it’s really really good.
I just don’t get why SOVIET heavy tanks cannot be heavy tanks.
There’s plenty of superb 5.7, 6.3, and 6.7 heavies for other nations.
IS-2s are hit or miss. Usually reload gets you killed.
IS-3 armor became useless thanks to heat-fs

IS-6 once upon a time was good, but got nerfed into a black hole of Heat FS, and stabilizers.
There’s a trend of bad heavy tanks.
T-10M is okay.
KV-1E / Zis-5 were the only real good ones.
Zis-5 got uptiered wayyy too high.
1E is now following the trend of being uptiered to the point it’s useless.
Like there is no reason to NOT just take a T-34, better gun, better speed, better armor slopes, slightly worse reload. Only con is worse turret armor.
19.4 with a very very good AP round.
The IS2/3/4 all have 19.8 aced if I recall.
The KV-1E BR bump is justified, but the KV-1B should have remained at 4.0.

Yes, but they face different enemy vehicles. KV-1E is steamrolling Panzer IV box tank teams with impunity. Its cannon is perfectly op vs these.
But the KV-1B is underwhelming, cause it mainly faces T-34 models and other KV-1’s.
It also doesn’t face the one group of tanks that can reliably pen it without needing to do too much weakspot hunting
This is actually the worst take ever, the KV-1B has less opponents with 145mm pen than the KV-1E. I love the Panzer IV but to ignore the KV-1B not having to deal with them nearly as much as the KV-1E is you holding on to your love for an op vehicle.

T-34’s turret is 45mm thick, and Panzer 4s have an easier time penning KV-1Es than T-34s do.

I see. yeah as i said i think the approach of only considering a certain amount of the best or very good players might be a better way, albeit no one here knows whether the snail is already doing that or something similar or not. Apart from that i fully agree with your ideas. It’s hard to imagine a new player or anyone just swooping over low tier russia for examply would instantly figure out how effective a gaz-mm or a zis-12 can be in the anti-tank role especially considering how fast you can sweep through those ranks. You’ll have the next rank or next vehicle researched before you even spaded it.
Complete BS it can barely engage a jet before it launches an AGM-65B, let alone a heli with HIRSS.
1 tank and a useless SPAA, GREAT LINE UP! And you wonder why one death leavers are an issue.
AND you destroyed the 11.3 line up in the process and left the 2 tanks left with a 9.3 SPAA that struggles to hit an 8.0 jet and cant even shoot at helis.
This was a stupid decision and your justifications for it are insulting.

Love the line about, moving TKX(p) away from weaker opponents. And looking into type 90 as well. Looking at the TT in game there are very few that can bring any kind of feasible line up, except SWE (which is mostly LT) or GBR.
The line up which is the big winner is ofcourse the 10.3 USSR with T-72B, T-72B (1989), Turms-t, T-80UD, 2S38, BMP-2M and two competent Spaags.

Im at the point I believe the leopard 2k could be 10.3, alongside stuff like the T72B and 1989 version, the Leopard2k is an absolutely phenomenal tank in practice.
The super etendard to 11.0 is pretty wild as well.
