the gunner moving the turret as fast as my 91 year old grandmother could is enough of a nerf without it being higher than AFV atgm spammers
Oh but dont you worry, not a long time ago, they decided to give aces of thunder (air sim copy and paste but for $$$) flatscreen support, so no need to play air sim anymore
it is criminal to put a radarless vehicle that cant target helicopters flying slightly too close to ground or that cant target planes cuz of bad weather be put at 11.7, it wont make much of a difference but now compared to spaa’s at his same BR it is criminal
Technically the Brenus, AMX 32 should fire it as well. As for the stats, you can expect a bit more than 420mm of pen
KV IE and B at 4.3 meanwhile the Churchil VII is still at 4.7 while being worse than either of them except for flat pen at 0° 0m, because that is totally a realistic and normal event for most shots and angle pen is fully overrated XD
Did Gaijin in all their wisdom, account for the missile having a range of mere 7km and having no search radar meaning you have to manually find space bombers at high altitude, before putting it 0.3 BR lower than the Pantsir? Have you developers accounted for that?
second seeker mode tand embraces the benefit of such missiles, the second seeker mode that literally only works when the weather isnt in britain mode and when there isnt a single cloud in the sky nor a tree saving a helicopter from getting locked on
Wow, another round of br changes where all the feedback about the Otomatic or Italy in general are ignored
Why i’m not surprised?
Well its clearly not the missile that is why its performing better.
How is the Type 81 (C) without radar/search function and lack of IR seeker issues on helicopters somehow a higher BR than the Tor-m1 :D
Ever thought the statistics are “high” because its currently dealing with a spam of SU-30s and KA50/52s in the sky. almost like your dog water game balance is proving your inability to look at stats correctly.
Why not break the stats down in what vehicle type because I get the funny feeling Im spot on with the helicopter/SU-30 kill ratio is why is so damn “good” in your eyes.
The AMX M4 has very good mobility and super fast turret rotation speed.
So you shouldn’t even get shot on the first place.
But the armor isn’t bad either.
It’s probably a very high efficiency and low death bomber. I’ve ran into a lot of them and they’re hard to catch and they accelerate fast which means they probably get bases before anyone else. Not that this is a good thing though I liked using it as a fighter
dont bother, this BR change has proved they have zero clue how to balance there game or are intentionally sandbagging the game.
In no logic can a Type 81 (C) with clearly lower visual awareness, inferior missile and inability to manually guide in somehow better than even a TorM1 :D I get TorM1 “can” be bad but like they actually need to look at what vehicles its facing and then ASK “why are the stats so high” probs because Type 81 is the only effective thing at clapping helicopter spam and KH38 spam effectively because its “hidden” on RWRs due to lack of radar.
Very sad to not see any changes to Air Simulator as of time of this writing.
@Stona_WT why is SIM being ignored?
Why is the Namer 30 at 11.0? It’s been almost a YEAR since the Explosive Tracks bug (OBVIOUSLY Gaijin is not going to fix it as long as it doesn’t affect PREMIUM vehicles, as always) it has no ammo, it’s completely empty, it has less armor than the MK3 and 4 (and it doesn’t have the 26.5 ton turret and the 3.5 ton cannon of “nothing”), the missiles are poorly placed, since they should be on the ground.
Mode: Air Simulator
Aircraft: Su-27
Change: 13.3->13.0
Reasoning: The Long Scan cycles of the Radar combined with its atrocious RWR and a crippling lack of ARH missiles make this plane completely useless in the current BR brackets as it has to go up against Eurofighters, Rafales and other ARH slingers constantly. The F-15 which has much better radar and a working rwr gets to be at 13.0 in sim.
At 13.0 the Su-27 can also be a counter to the Fakour Spam that is the Wall of missiles being sent directly to any aircraft taking off.
simple, gaijin dont want there precious KA’s getting clapped by spikes from 20km. im not joking. thats like the only good thing the Namer has going for it. there tryna curb stomp there precious premium lineups getting roasted by people who use weapon systems that they cannot counter.
Mode: Air Simulator
Aircraft: F-14A IRIAF
Change: 12.7->13.0
Reasoning: Fakour-90s are highly unbalanced as there is no counter to a team that spams fakours AND aim-54s, which makes the games extremely un-fun to play, as everything you do is, try to take off, get slapped by Fakour and or phoenix, rinse and repeat.
Mode: Air Simulator
Aircraft: Mirage 2000C-S4
Change: 12.3->12.0
Reasoning: The generally low missile count of 2 Radar missiles and 2 IR guided ones combined with the 16 Flares and 18 Chaff make this plane extremely difficult to play as at 12.3 you only see uptiers to at least 12.7 and when going up against ARH slingers (F-14A, F-14A IRIAF) the dumping of chaff to fool the missiles is impossible as you would run out of chaff before leaving the square of the Airfield. At 12.0 the plane would still face the Tomcats in certain brackets but they are not included in the “best case scenario” brackets.
This is quite insane, not even talking lock ranges just pure missile flight distance, the Type 81 has a limit of 10km. The HQ17 has 15 km range missiles & a radar @ 11.3! most (with one exception) 11.0 SAMs have at least 12km ranges. I don’t understand why the company is pushing this so hard.
This isn’t really even touching on how the 11.3 lineup, is now left with the Type 93 SAM, a stinger analog with a 5km range and a BR of 9.3. Which puts it right back in the same situation it was in before the type 81 was added.
