This is actually the worst take ever, the KV-1B has less opponents with 145mm pen than the KV-1E. I love the Panzer IV but to ignore the KV-1B not having to deal with them nearly as much as the KV-1E is you holding on to your love for an op vehicle.
T-34’s turret is 45mm thick, and Panzer 4s have an easier time penning KV-1Es than T-34s do.
So it would seem unfortunately
If the April 2025 BR changes had a theme song, it would undeniably be Hava Nagila (reference: Malzi).
I see. yeah as i said i think the approach of only considering a certain amount of the best or very good players might be a better way, albeit no one here knows whether the snail is already doing that or something similar or not. Apart from that i fully agree with your ideas. It’s hard to imagine a new player or anyone just swooping over low tier russia for examply would instantly figure out how effective a gaz-mm or a zis-12 can be in the anti-tank role especially considering how fast you can sweep through those ranks. You’ll have the next rank or next vehicle researched before you even spaded it.
Complete BS it can barely engage a jet before it launches an AGM-65B, let alone a heli with HIRSS.
1 tank and a useless SPAA, GREAT LINE UP! And you wonder why one death leavers are an issue.
AND you destroyed the 11.3 line up in the process and left the 2 tanks left with a 9.3 SPAA that struggles to hit an 8.0 jet and cant even shoot at helis.
This was a stupid decision and your justifications for it are insulting.
Love the line about, moving TKX(p) away from weaker opponents. And looking into type 90 as well. Looking at the TT in game there are very few that can bring any kind of feasible line up, except SWE (which is mostly LT) or GBR.
The line up which is the big winner is ofcourse the 10.3 USSR with T-72B, T-72B (1989), Turms-t, T-80UD, 2S38, BMP-2M and two competent Spaags.
thanks gaijin for ruining another lineup! really appreciate it! surely, this subsonic plane with 4 gbu’s was SO opressive in its br range, its not like there are much more pressing issues with balancing present!
and substantially better armour.
Im at the point I believe the leopard 2k could be 10.3, alongside stuff like the T72B and 1989 version, the Leopard2k is an absolutely phenomenal tank in practice.
The super etendard to 11.0 is pretty wild as well.
In all fairness those 11.3 Type90s should go up to 11.7 as well, the fact they moved the TKX(P) which is arguably a sidegrade to the type 90s up but left them is wild.
I reckon thats due to the Fuji though.
hecking ridiculous you mean? i love when gaijin nukes linups for no reason at all
Damn got the comment blocked before I could even see it xD
someone really hates CENSORED F-words lmao
Genuinely was waiting to use the Super Etendard with the Leopard 2a4 but now its pointless af xD its 11.0, its dead for GRB and in ARB just use the mirage 3E which is better for the BR.
seeing as France jumps straight to 12.0 from 10.7… which is also another pointless tank but I digress.
You can just use the best ground attackers for france in the mirage 2k and the damn rafale… why bother with the etendard. unless you want to uptier the 2a4 ,vextra nd amx40
How good or bad the Type 90 might be is irrelevant to the point that the Type 81C is just an improved Strela and barley justified being at 11.3 and that Gaijins claim that putting 1 tank at 11.7 with it qualifies as a “line up” is a complete load of bull. AND that they destroyed one of the few decent line ups Japan had to do it is salt in the wound.
This must be how UK mains feel…
Type 90 is faster by 3 kph forward and a higher acceleration.
TKX(p)
- reverse gear box;
- four round less in ready rack;
- better zoom on both gunner and commander;
- thermals for the whole crew.
Both are incredibly fast, but personally i like the TKX better, because of the zoom and the reverse gearbox. Since i play GFAB, and rarely use thermals and can’t really comment on that difference.
type 90 is also 3hp/ton faster which is much more noticeable than having more than 34km\h reverse speed
Ive got Uk top tier, and japan, believe me its ridiculous, look at the shir 2 at 10.0 now iwth a 9.0 dart -.-
Im well aware of the type 81 being shifted up is ridiculous, as it is totally unwarranted. Its a fantastic SPAA, if they fly within range, at 11.7 youre up against F15E/I and 16C’s as well as grips etc. They all can sit outwith your range and just drop hell.
Ill say this, the type 81 should stay 11.3 and the Type 90s shift up to 11.7
Type 90 also has more protection around the tank rather than two specific parts, one on the turret and hull.
The Type 90 also as a nicer profile as the TKX (P) has a longer turret etc.
People make a song and dance of thermals on here, but the fact is the magnification is handier, the TKX (P) has gen 2 thermals, but if you use them to spot, then turn off to fire it really doesnt matter much.
Overall the TKX (P) is a sidegrade to the type 90s, its not better or worse, it does some things marginally better and others marginally worse.
Why one moves up and not the other makes no sense.
unless its due to the Type 90s being spammed and TKX (P) being a TT tank who knows
I know, that is why i started faster acceleration, should have specified 29.7 compared to 27 hp/t.
