Thank you for your feedback, we have updated the spreadsheet with the planned Battle Rating changes and want to comment on some of your suggestions.
TKX (P)
The quick reload speed of all tanks in the TKX (P) and Type 90s lineup gives them an advantage in many situations where fire rate plays a crucial role, which affects their effectiveness. At the moment, we decided to raise the Battle Rating only for the TKX (P) and will evaluate the results. The increase of Battle Rating for this tank does not result in it meeting any new opponents, but moves it away from the comparatively very weak tanks. In the future, depending on the efficiency of the lineup, we’ll make decisions on Battle Ratings for the Type 90s, which remain unchanged at the moment.
Type 81 (C)
The TKX (P) will still be able to be in the same lineup as the Type 81 (C), so its Battle Rating being raised doesn’t leave it without a lineup. Despite lacking a search radar and having to deal with the drawbacks of missiles with IR seekers, such as target acquisition distance, it has a second seeker mode and embraces the benefit of such missiles that have fire and forget capabilities. Statistically, it is one of the most effective SAM vehicles in the game, which is the core reason that it is moving higher in Battle Rating.
Vextra 105
Based on feedback a new shell, the OFL 105 G2 will be added and the Battle Rating of this vehicle will be raised to 10.0 so that it can be taken into an effective lineup with the AMX-40 and even some vehicles at a higher Battle Rating. This new shell has slightly more penetration than the 105 mm DM63.
AMX-13s, AMX M4 and E.B.R. (1954)
The combination of characteristics of the AMX-13 and AMX M4 allows them to keep high efficiency values, seriously exceeding the average values on their Battle Rating among similar tanks. We’ve been observing the changes of the effectiveness of these vehicles for some time, but it did not decrease, remaining consistently high. So we decided to increase their Battle Rating, first of all taking them away from tanks with a Battle Rating of 5.7. Together with the appearance of new opponents, this will cause their increased effectiveness values to decrease. The E.B.R. (1954) and AMX-13 have effectiveness noticeably higher than average, but along with the increase in Battle Rating we decided to give it a “top” PCOT-51P shell to make the set of available shells the same for the AMX-13.
There are more changes which were made since the first post. Make sure to check them all out in the updated spreadsheet!
