It is unbearable that during the process of resetting the 99A new model, gaijin not only weakened its armor performance, but also artificially created a weak point in the turret. This has resulted in 99A not only not improving, but also getting worse.
Gaijin created a huge triangular hole in the area near the bottom of the turret. and all related issues have been rejected. when I consulted the forum administrator, they absurdly asked me to submit issues. even though they knew that this method was deliberately obstructed. this forms a closed loop, like Soviet joke.
until now, the performance of the 99A(12.0) is still lower than the (11.7)M1A1aim . almost the same size of weak point area projection. or even more. but worse depression angle. even worse loading time. worse penetration of shells.
also too worse VT4, Its hull armor is still incorrect until now. the inclined area at the top still cannot eject the shell.
now, there is another imaginative VT5 .the designer has stated in multiple interviews that it can withstand 100mm shells. but gaijin allows it to be penetrated directly by machine guns.
It’s ridiculous that a game that loves to fabricate based on prejudice has such strict requirements for data
This I did not know at all, the VT5 IRL is actually an incredibly impressive piece of kit from what ive seen ,yet to inspect it ingame.

They are mobily but the reload, round, and armour are absolutely pathetic
I played my leon2a7 last night, and took a direct side hit into the turret basket, didn’t break the turret drive, and only killed the loader, so I don’t see what everyone in opposition is complaining about.
The Leopard tank was not affected much by this update, but the Abrams tank is the one that was affected a lot. Now, hit the tank anywhere, really, even the engine will stop the turret.
Yep. Pretty much regardless of where you hit the Abrams, turret top or back of the engine, places where you have a good three to five feet of distance the actual turret ring and you take out the horizontal drive every. Single. Time.
Given the lack of follow up from the devs or CMs, I guess we are just SOL. Even post update, this change is pretty much still hated and yet nothing.
Honestly this would be better:
horizontal drive and basket modelled separately, which means: if the horizontal drive got hit = no turret traverse. Basket got hit = slower turret traverse
yeah turret traverse decrease when hit on the basket up to like 30% i wouldnt complain since its basically T-80s traverse speed because atleast i can still shoot back

I said something similar about the auto loaders.
They should buff the health of them, because they’re so weak, then make it progressively take longer to reload past the yellow damage stage.
