Request for opinion: Ground Assault matches harder to win at the moment?

While winning Ground Assault matches has become possible again with the desync fix, it seems to be more difficult than it was prior to Hornet’s Sting. I have been in an abnormally high number of rounds which were lost during the last wave including one at Kursk which started the final wave with full tickets, although this one was (in my opinion) lost by a single player: the AA guy who thought it a good idea to stop shooting planes in wave 8. By the time he realised that this was a top-class bad idea, six bot planes had blown half the group to bits, and getting back in position without being splattered by one of 30 sniping IS-2s is not exactly easy - I was killed three times during this wave, once by a plane and twice by tanks while trying to get into a shooting position.

That’s the core of my question. In any match I’ve played over the last four days which ended with tickets drained during wave 11 (seven or eight, I think), the bots in this wave seem to be on steroids. Seeing five or six players blown up in the first 10 seconds of the wave, check, including the much-loved “bot places kill shot right the moment it spawns”.

Is that just my rotten luck or has anybody else noticed an uptick in last wave losses?

just face the facts. its not the gamemode its been the same as always. its just your “teammates” are really patheticly bad. from idiots who bring tanks into the match that doesnt belong into the BR youre playing to people who have no clue how to aim to disable the tanks to people bringing tanks with a slow reload.

I had an interesting win at Mozdok today, which I didn’t think would happen until the last bot Tiger II blew up. Four players (squads, of course) were clowning around in tanks with BRs from ranks I to III, controlling the planes wasn’t very good, and the ticket counter went down to 500 at one point.

Don’t mind the slow reloads if they at least hit their targets, although I have to admit that I find it rather ambitious when an IS-2 in Japan charges a spawn point of M41A1s. He did hit reverse once he noticed what a bad idea it was, but that didn’t save him.

There was one guy who almost got it. He complained about the bot planes and for a moment I thought that he made the mental leap from “the stinking bot planes keep blowing up people” to “they need to be shot down”, but alas…no such luck. Defeat at Kursk, tickets drained during the sixth wave.
