Subject: Report: Automated Trading Script (Bot) Abuse on Gaijin Market
TimeZone : PKT UTC+05:00
Issue Summary:
I am reporting a user who is clearly employing automated scripts (bots) on the Gaijin Market to manipulate buy orders. I have verified this behavior at three different times throughout the day. Whenever I place a buy order, an automated account creates a new order exactly +0.01 GJN higher than mine.
I tested this by placing over 10 consecutive orders, and every single time, my price was undercut in exactly 2 seconds. This mechanical reaction time is clearly scripted and completely ruins the marketplace experience for legitimate players.
Item Affected:
- Camouflage: Pz.Bef.Wg.VI P ‘Night Hunter’ WTCS V
Evidence & Timeline:
I have attached five screenshots documenting this automated behavior. The sequence demonstrates my attempts to buy the item and the script reacting exactly 2 seconds later to outbid me.
-
img 1: Highlights the real-time trading log in a narrower view, displaying anonymous purchase orders at 1.78 GJN and 1.77 GJN. The 1.77 GJN order was mine, and the script continuously micro-adjusted to stay at the top of the queue.
-
img 2: Shows the system notification timestamps reflecting a rapid sequence of events (from 18:29 to 18:31). This documents my multiple manual attempts to place and cancel orders (1.71, 1.75, 1.77 GJN) to test the bot, which reacted exactly 2 seconds after every change.
-
img 3: Shows the market overview with the highest buy order pushed to 1.79 GJN. My PC time is clearly visible in the taskbar as 6:52 PM.
-
img 4: Shows my PC time as 6:53 PM, exactly one minute after my 1.79 GJN order. The market overview shows the script has created a new top buy order at 1.80 GJN, automatically beating my price by the exact programmed increment of +0.01 GJN.
-
img 5: Shows my notification log, confirming that I successfully placed my buy order for 1.79 GJN at 18:52. I have provided my specific order ID ( #4922534611301562278) here so that support can easily trace the market logs and flag the account that immediately placed the automated order right after mine.
Please review the logs for this specific item’s trading history around these timestamps to identify the offending account. Thank you for looking into this issue and helping maintain a fair marketplace.
