Currently the SL-AMRAAM is kept identical to the air launched version, this creates a situation were the devs are gonna be reluctant to increase the range or buff the missiles in fears of making the air launched version too good. as it is right now your unlikely to hit a moving target past 12km (same with the irst SLM, that also needs a change).
the simple solution here is the add the AMRAAM-ER instead so i can be buffed or nerfed by itself without the need to worry about air balance.
What is the point of waiting so long to add these systems is were gonna gimp their range to less than what we already have in game
