We are actualy getting MiG-29 9-13S as 9-13 will be upgraded by R-73 and R-27ET.
Has it been seen in the data mines?
Current 9-13 will be basically transformed to 9-13S by adding R-27ET. Standard 9-13 never had them. It was on dev server.

I guess yeah, but it’s still missing R-77 capabilities and N019M radar to be called an 9-13S it’s more just a 9-13 Frankenstein model
Both 9-12 and 9-13 are practically pretty much Frankenstein. But tbh idk if full potential 9-13S would be better than SMT. Worse avionic and less CM + as I read on 9-13S was reinforced construction compared to 9-13 so more then 1 ton increase of weight.
9-13 and 9-13S both have an empty weight of 11200kg
Yeah its possible. One my source could be confused. Still avionic and CM would be much worse. And dont forget that there is squadron iz. 9-15 in files.
Mig29s has garbage avionics as seen on mig-29n.

Oh yeah, but first he just outright said the 9-13S was coming to the game. But he would later edit on the R-27ET and R-73 bit after I sent my message
Its basically 9-13S. Only thing which is different from 9-13S is absence of R-77. Both R-27ER / ET was never carried by standard 9-13.

I would much rather them add the 9.13S as a foldered vehicle at 13.3 with the MiG-29 9.13 while they add the 9.18 model foldered with the 9.19.
The 9.18 has the same avionics as the 9.19 if i recall correctly but is missing the dorsal fuel tank that hurts the 9.19s flight performance so much.
Really the best of both worlds for the early MiG-29 airframes
the 9.18 is not quite there with the 9.19R in game on the avionics its missing the L-150 and still uses the SPO-15, although now that you have the N010M the boost in situational awareness it gives is enough to compensate for the weak RWR
Do we know if it is the regular SPO-15 or the arguably much better SPO-15T? If its the T i wouldnt really mind as it is a digital rwr plus it gets rid of the fuel tank on the spine
i dont really know alot about this SPO-15 variant other than it has two extra directional points for the frontal arc (10 on the new instead of 8 on the old version) as for the stuff on the display next to it, i really dont know tbh
