Repair logic

Can someone explain to mw the logic behind why a red breech is not taking priority over my knocked out engine here. It seems like the breech repair was waiting for the engine and transmission to be repaired first before getting repaired.

This is one of those instances where being able to prioritize whats gets repaired first might have prevented getting knocked out.

There is no difference between the 2 pictures. All of the modules would’ve finished repairing at the exact same time.

Thats my point, theres no reason the blacked out engine/transmission should be repaired in the same time a red breech would be repaired. The breech should’ve been quicker being technically less damaged.

Seems like the time for each modul add up till everything is repaired as once, if I understand the repairsystem correctly. Tbh I see potential for a new feature here. Why not have a priority for specific modules? Like a hotkey or selection wheel, something like that to select which damaged module should be repaired first. I think this would be nice.

That’d have to be made as a suggestion. This is a decent concept.

I am about to make a suggestion for the exact same thing. Searched to make sure it hadn’t been done before and stumbled across this. Been absolutely pissing me off recently. I’ll edit this with my suggestion later
