DCA 40 addition at this BR is insane. But its just one of these examples of SPAAs with just too much pen. Whats the point of Shermans, Panzer IV, T-34, KV-1 etc, when ppl just abuse these rapid firing high pen SPAAs? 97mm penetratin or something. Even Tigers or Panthers are quickly disabled and killed. There are that many others, like ZSU-37 with 87mm pen at lol 3.3 BR. Just compare this to armor values of med and even heavy tanks of this BR bracket. There’s a reason why players spam these vehicles. They’re small and have almost as much pen as real tanks, just with a fast firing autocannon?
Someone should Gajin really hint on these kind of SPAAs. There are more bad examples. I mean Kugelblitz with like 75mm pen got a BR of 7.0 for a reason. While there are Falcon-like SPAAs at BRs of 5-6? This should be tackled. Everything with more than 70mm pen has an easy time to take on tanks, escpecially on small maps. They all need either their AP ammo removed or much higher BRs.
The czech M53 with a two barreled autocannon and almost 100mm pen is also one of the prime abusers. These vehicles actually kill any tank gameplay.I also don’t understand why they have lower BRs than actually SPAAs with much less pen as the Kugel. Penetration is likely the most important stat in this tank game. For very obvious reasons. So…why has one 87mm pen SPAA (full ap belt) a BR of 3.3 (!) and one SPAA with just 77mm pen a BR of 7.0? Does it make sense? The 3.3 one even has a full belt of high pen ammo…
Please lets also talk about the Leopard 1 40/70 Spaa, which is probably the pinnacle of lol SPAA gameplay vs. ground targets. At 6.0. lol. It should be much higher BRed. Its better than a Leopard 1 with just this single shot cannon. On small maps only ofc. But this game mostly cycles small maps. I’ve seen enough matches of Leopard 1 SPAA’s easily massacre Leopard 1 MBTs. Unstabilized single shot guns vs. bam bam bam autofire just on the move.
No. If anything, the AMX-13 DCA should go back down to 4.7/4.3, because it gives France an SPAA where it needs it. Also, no SPAA should be completely defenseless against enemies, because then it just punishes players for playing an already bad vehicle class.
Thodin has some of the worst takes when it comes to other nations vehicles. Its almost like hes never touched their vehicles tbh. AMX DCA is a good TD dont get me wrong but at 5.0 its incredibly situational. It can kill most things if it gets a flat side shot at which point you would’ve died anyways. I’d say the reason its super hard to deal with is because the turret armor saves the crew from 7.62 fire a lot and the good mobility which is why the LVKV 42 is now 4.7 and without a lineup and before at 4.3 it was without a lineup as the only tanks on sweden are at 4.0, gaijin needs to actually add spaa if they plan on ruining lineups.
As for the Kugel, tell me youve never played the kugel without telling me you’ve never played it. (Referring to Thodin) he has i know that but ive seen them tank missiles and scurry away. Besides the Zerstörer was added in its place so again no reason to move the Kugel down until people stop using it as a TD imo.

The BMP-2 is the worst IFV at its BR. It doesn’t get APDS stock, it has poor mobility, poor armour and cannot penetrate some IFV’s and light tanks frontally, namely the Marder, Desert Warrior, Type 16. However, those tanks can penetrate the BMP-2 with ease. Further, it has worse gun depression and handling compared to those IFVs. Anything I missed?

its easily the best one. its fast, it has an amazing cannon, its got good protection against autocannons frontally, and it has a decent missile to boot. which vehicles do you struggle to pen?
A heavier less armored BMP that has to fight heavy armored soviet vehicles every match and the only benefit it has is thermals which are gimmicks at best since you can’t pen most things and you have a drone. Literally no reason the 2MD shpuld be the same BR. Especially when you also only get the 1 belt of APDS
Again that was the only thing i could think of, i dont meet US heavies to often but when i do i normally just run away since the 2MD doesn’t have a missile launcher and only 250 rounds of apds is very limiting, especially when it weighs more and has less armor than the Soviet model at the same BR.
