Flare-less targets have to face all aspect missiles that are difficult to outrun and flat out impossible to out manoeuvre. Its very unfair and I physically cannot play uptiers where I face them.
They should’ve been added at a lower Br, but with Aim-9Js and R-60s instead of R-60Ms and Aim-9Ls.
The A-10 single-handedly ruined air Rb between 7.0 and 10.0.
The A-10 early can’t face anything below 9.3 currently, and they couldn’t face anything below 9.0 before moving to the higher br. How did it ruin 7.0 battles?
It as well as a couple other planes caused 9.7 supersonics to be downtiered(F-104, Mig-19, etc), which led to the MiG-15s and Sabres going down in BR. Now, Me-262s regularly face early Sabres and MiG-15s, and Vampires, Me-163s, and other 8.0 planes now at the same BR as a MiG-15 or Sabre.
262s always faced Sabres and MiG-15s in an up tier even when the F-86 was first added.
The early ones didn’t, but the rocket ones always have.
It’s just alot worse now.
It didn’t he is just malding at the A-10.
I probably am, but my point still stands. It being added (along with other compression) eventually caused very good 8.X planes to go down to compress 7.X.
Except that stuff like the sabers moving to 8.0 was decompression and the 262s and the like were moved up due to their performance.
That and you seem to be omitting the myriad of other aircraft within the 7.0 to 10.0 bracket that slid all over the place in recent memory.
I can still hear people loosing their minds over the F-104s even though they are hot garbage now.
It was quite literally the opposite, it compressed 7.0-8.7 more. How is moving the best 8.X planes down in BR decompression?
Unless that was a long time ago, they have stayed their current BRs for quite a while.
The later ones yeah, but the F-104A shouldn’t be a 9.3 plane.
The Sabre/MiG changes were completely bad, and made the Br bracket worse, and it can be partially blamed on the A10 and Su-25.
Decompressing 8.0-9.0.
Back when the there was no BR system but a weird chevron system, aka, circa 2013 to 2014, far before your time.
Oh no the lawn dart can fly fast in a straight line, you are aware the thing is unusable outside of doing just that right? Or do you still think it can actually rate fight because boy you would be very wrong there.
Except that high end AAMs were fighting them for an exceedingly long time at that point and people wanted them to go down so they did not have to face any missiles period. You act like the Saber at 8.3 could even see the 10.0 A-10A let alone the introductory SU-25K BR of 9.7.
Its quite funny to me that you somehow think these aircraft somehow interacted because they did not.
If it was decompression, they would’ve moved up alongside every other 8.0+ plane. Those chnages just compressed the 7.X Br bracket more, and now it’s even worse to play.
It is unkillable in a subsonic plane if the F-104 has a fraction of a brain. I’ve only been able to reliably fight them in a MiG-19S (which also should be 9.7).
No, the vehicles forced down by the A10/Su-25 caused the 8.X planes to perform worse and then move down.
There is zero justification for a Mig-15 to be the same BR as a vampire, and only .3 higher than an F-84G or J29.
Hmmm I dont think you understand how BR decompression works, emptying a BR does not decompress it, it just makes it dead.
Yeah so the likes of the A-10 should do terribly against it, oh wait no you vehemently disagree with that concept. There is flat out only 1 way to play a F-104 currently due to it’s nerfs, and if you cant take the time to just pay attention to the lawn dart diving you and, well, turn more than 10 degrees and force them to lock up, I dont think you should be playing jets.
Ah there you go again equating the entire shift to just the A-10 and SU-25, You once again seem to be willingly omitting that AAM slingers existed below the A-10s and directly spent time shooting down stuff like sabers, I should know, my Yak-38 loved fighting them.
