Is that a project wingman reference I see? My guy knows ball
It is inaccurate to regard Taiwan as a subtree of technology, as both the Taiwan region and the mainland are part of China, much like both the United States and the Confederate States were part of the United States. Japan and Thailand are two entirely different nations, and the idea of treating certain Southeast Asian countries as subtrees of Japan’s technology is inherently absurd.
i think you and a lot of people from the chinese community dont understand the fundamental meaning of “sub-trees” in warthunder. A subtree nation isnt beholden to or somehow below its “main tree” nation. This kinda stems from Gaijins poor choice of keeping the main nation name and making subtree nations be seen under the umbrela of the main nation. Just because Thailand is under Japan doesnt mean that thai vehicles have anything to do with japan, same way Switzerland is with Germany, Benelux with France or India with GB.
Just because the subtree and by proxy the vehicles are under “Japan” doesnt mean they are japanese. This entire VT4 thing is just stupid, overblown and kept alive by annoyingly high amount of narrowminded and blind nationalism. When i play swiss hornet, its a swiss hornet, not a german hornet. When id play Thai VT4 in japanese TT, im playing a Thai vehicle, not japanese one.
This is the relationship we discovered.
How do i report M1A2T having KEW-A2 round? Do i have to do something special or just write dev in the heading and do as usual?
What are you reporting abt it? I’m a little confused
you discovered how the english language functions? im glad for you but also its hilarious at the same time.
You saying that is kinda like the caricature of fictional dwarves in literature being angry when someone says the word “short” even when not referring to said dwarves. Hilarious really.
Just to explain it to you: The word “under” in this context refers to the fact that the faction is called japan and this nation/vehicle is within said faction. It doesnt refer to social or political position perceived by being associated with said faction.
I could rewrite it with “within” instead of under if you wish so that you get less triggered by that word but i find it more funny that from that entire text that simple word was enough to get you to comment that.
I am pretty sure M1A2T uses KEW-A1 round instead of KEW-A2 round As show in this document
https://indsr.org.tw/respublicationcon?uid=12&resid=714&pid=2663. It was provided to me by user “Im a Tree”

If they’re compatible then that’s probably the reason why its there. I think for this type of report you’d have to prove it doesn’t have compatibility, which with official documents saying “We cannot use KEW-A2” its pretty much impossible. Gaijin moment.
But yeah, add [DEV] and try to make the argument!
That’s fine if i fail but i do want to try. I will most likely fail as they also refused the bug about su30mkm using kh38
I have literally explained the Vt4 situation before
Probably because you need to prove it cannot use Kh-38MXEs. Which again, is like impossible.
Gaijin are dumb.

funny for me
they already refused the bug report for removing KEWA2, no use doing it again
yap we need more talk ,then problay they are think again
In East Asia, terms related to inclusion, subordination, or being under something carry clear implications, indicating a distinct hierarchy among the subjects you are discussing. I hope you can understand the ambiguities in how people from different countries interpret certain English words.
but in that report no document was attached. I just want to try by providing source this time though i will surely fail
That is fair, but at the same time you also need to understand that we arent in East Asia. Just because something is within a faction named Japan doesnt immediately determine is subordination to said faction. Additionally Gaijin have in last update let us change said name of the faction to whichever we want, so if that were such a big deal you could rename Japan to Thailand.
Its really not such a huge deal when considering the context.
