Ho-Ri is in progress, and what was it replaced with? Absolutely nothing.
M48 is an M48; it’s good, but it cannot perform that aggressor role. The Ho-Ri operates due to its armor being too thick to do much protecting.
The Type 99 is a howitzer: good gun, crappy drop, no armor. It’s nothing but a mediocre artillery piece since, oh wait, it was intended for engaging at long distances far away at an elevation.

Should I mention that 6.7 lineups are also incomplete and would perform so poorly at 7.3 and 7.7 that, if need be, they would be forced to fight an 8.0, which has occurred.
You want proper replacements: the Ka-To, the Ho-Ri I, and the Ho-Ri II. Leave the proto as a premium or toss it into the same category as the Maus, a very rare vehicle only seen once every few anniversaries. Considering that the Ho-Ri Proto is the closest depiction of what the Ho-Ri’s final form would have been had the war continued into 1947 somehow.
It’s historically accurate because it was in the early stages of being built.
The Ho-Ri Production in-game was never built.
The Prototype was in the early phases of what a probable 3rd evolution of the design would be.
Your argument can go for so many different vehicles in-game that are modelled improperly. Or simply were nothing but a husk. That did not get completed.
The issue is: If none were added, this game also would not continue existing.
Ok then, no Maus, no T34, no T-126, no TIII. No captured vehicles, no vehicles with anti-tank guns on them due to most of those being field modifications.

I was playing 5.0 UK last night, and every single game the enemy was filled with probably 50% Chi-Tos. it was insane lol. Ive never seen anything like it, Im a Japan main and normally theres only a couple of japanese players on my team at most when playing it.

The Turret one 1 prototype was slapped onto the chassis of another prototype.
T34 was completed but never accepted into service because it was a prototype. It was not a production vehicle. Nor did it ever see war.
T-126 was completed but again a prototype that did not see service and helped create the T-34.
All field modifications were unofficial vehicles that were engineered on the front lines and were unregulated. Many countries, generals, etc frowned at this idea since it made them seem more desperate. Rather than a structured and functional military at the time.
All captured vehicles were not serviced in combat; they were used as case studies and museum pieces. They only saw combat when it was absolutely needed, which was only during the desperate times of a war.
So once again, by your logic: None of this would be used.
just a slight correction, only the 2nd maus, the one in the photo was armed by the Germans, the 1st prototype only had a steel block as a turret, until the Russians put the 2nd maus turret on it.
The hull itself was functional and could drive around for testing, if I recall one was petrol and the other diesel
