Regarding the Implementation of the Bismarck-class

I mean if nothing else they could do that WoWs thing where they’re like “Tirpitz (1941)” and “Tirpitz (1944)” or something but that would mean they’d have to stop doing that “one version of any given ship” thing

Didn’t stop Gaijin from doing exactly that with Z-47. But even without imaginery refits the German BBs will be fine unless they face jets guided weaponry.

my main point was absurdity of the idea that best, imaginery refit of BB being is gonna be an event reward.

It is not an official name of Russian Navy. It is an name called by GB and US, which are not a nation that use it. Imperial Russian and Soviet Navy’s official name was always Sevastopol class.

I see Gangut more often in naval literature than Sevastapol but I do see both. I just call them Gangut since that’s just how I know them as

Why are you getting so offended? :D
And like you said Ho-Ri was seen best solution to problem that wasn’t really there but Gaijin wanted to add Ho-Ri prototype to sell at least one decent prem even if it was never build.

Its not far stretch to see Gaijin making “What if” version of ship that was never build to be event vehicle if they ever plan going for bigger ships.

how am I getting offended lol

it is a far stretch for best vehicle in a line of development to be added as event reward

People calling Gangut class makes me headache…

But well, I’ll try to focus on topic. Imo Tirpitz will be tech tree as german tree doesn’t have much choice for future Rank VII tech tree. Right tree, Schlachtkreuzer tree doesn’t have other choice but only O-klasse(even if Gaijin implement it as they finally implement paper-plan with unique compartment). So it makes left tree, or Schlachtschiff tree need two ships. And we have choice of Bismarck and Tirpitz only.
