Mamba and IRIS-T are quite easy to deal with, once you launch your missiles their radar goes insane and miss every shot.

I’ve done that multiple times against competetent SM players, once you know its weaknesses its not hard to deal with Pantsir, also new ARM missiles helps a lot to deal with SM.
And how exactly APS will help you against LMUR and arched KH38MT’s?
Everyone knows and accept that APS systems are sidegrade, only true worthy one is the Iron Fist on Black Night which actually helps you defeat incoming APFSDS rounds from distance, even then that one is not hundred percent proof.
Even my pre-smoke game sense cant save my APS Black Night’s live holding the cap points

I’m gonna throw my 25 cents here and say as Merkava player that Trophy APS is very inconsistent.
Due to LMUR lofting nerf, Trophy intercepts them now. Top down munitions are a problem for most APS systems except GL6 and Iron Fist.
GL6 doesn’t even work half of the time on these days.
Got smacked by SPIKE yesterday even tho my launcher fired the projectile.
Yeah, they only send 1 missile at you.

Yes and if I were to choose between awareness boost and immunity against class I cant deal with and which has good chance of instagibbing me I would choose latter. Even with some limitations (unless of course its strikeshield level of limitations).

APS comes with its own debuff which is extra weight, if you dont mind it then its fine but thats exactly the reason why people thinks its sidegrade.

VT4A1 is nice but still lacks proper reverse gear tho 17km is more than enough.
If you got use to Abrams reload however, it can be pain in the ass.
