Regarding the Hull Armor of the M1A2 SEP V3

It’s really not. It’s very well protected and frequently even if you can penetrate the top of the turret you knock out the commander OR the the gunner, leaving it able to swing around and completely incapacitate you anywhere it hits.

People take issue with the fact that Russia just put APS systems on the T-90M and just got them in game, while things like the Sepv3 have had them for a decade and could have easily been added this update, but were not.

Im sure some British mains have a few things to say about how they were implemented.

The program which already produced and delivered 26 tanks?

Again, the problem is not that Russia got a new T-90M with arena. The problem is that other nations arent getting their best technologies. For example, M829A4 entered full production in 2016. Where is it? Yet the KH-38MT is a brochure missile and yet it gets implemented and is allowed to wreck top-tier for years?

Because it does favor Russia. For example, the KH-38MT got added based on next to nothing in terms of documentation. Now look at the brimstone and tell me with a straight face that gaijin isnt giving Russia deference that it would not give to other nations…

Russian prototypes are allowed to dominate in certain areas based on little to no documentation and questionable guesstimates, while other prototypes are gimped gimmick vehicles.

It really isn’t, the BVM is laughably easy to disable through the turret.

And I’m the pope.

You’re reaching Sovereign Citizen/Flat Earther levels of delusion here, you’re literally staring at a picture showing how poor the turret armour is, and the only thing you can say is: ‘‘Nuh uh’’.

If you’re just going to reject reality and substitute your own, I’ll just claim the M1A2 SEP v3 has the best armour of any tank in the entire game and already has M829A4 as well as DU hull armour.

See? I too can play that game.

And breech, sometimes even the autoloader, strangely enough.

The roof of the T-80BVM is so bad that opponents can simply take out your breech with an easy roof penetration before you can see any part of their turret that’s penetrable, especially on M1’s which have amongst the best turret roof armour as it’s 90% sloped beyond the critical ricochet angle of all APFSDS.

PIN number.
ATM machine.
PDF format.

If you’re going to claim the SEP v3 has had Trophy for 10 years now, how about you show me a picture of a SEP v3 with Trophy mounted from ≈2016.

Just like the T-90M Arena will have over 26 produced and delivered vehicles soon?

Vacuum-1 and Vacuum-2. Where is it?

Besides, you’ve truly lost the plot if you’re seriously asking why the best tanks in the entire game don’t get significantly buffed firepower over what they already have.

Not even mentioning that the stats that are publicly available are unquestionably trusted despite the, let’s just say, historical non trustworthiness of the country, with them 4++++++++ gen jets and them anti-stealth radars Maduro loved so much. Farewell dossier, Gorodomlia yada yada.

Will? And Im not even arguing over numbers, Im sure it exists in some form on one tank. Did my argument go entirely over your head?

Can any curremt russian tanks in game fire this? Pretty sure they cant…

As expected, SEP v2.

Do we have the M1A1 HA variant for the DU hulls to be applicable? Pretty sure we don’t.

There are those double standards again :)

This is going nowhere as you’ll just continue to move the goalpost and neglect to respond to evidence that you’re presented with. You also won’t be able to provide any photographs of a SEP v3 but that won’t stop you from maintaining the double standards.

I’ll just leave it here, no interest in any further back-and-forth.

You can clearly see the weld lines, what are you talking about? Lol

So far we’ve discovered that armor does not matter, but T’s need it. Most kills on T’s are sideshots, but it still needs frontal armor. The ERA is overestimated for the sake of balance but Abrams hull armor is not implemented because it’s questionable. Solid.

Don’t know if it’s ping issue but at times direct on sideshots to T72 my dart just disappears, even though it should’ve penned, which is a problem i only had with T’s. But again, even if the T’s protection has holes why Merkava or Ariette completely naked?

The problem is that APS systems weren’t getting actively invested in by Russia, it’s a technology that requires top of the line components that Russia doesn’t produce and can’t buy due to sanctions, yet it’s better than Israeli tech which was used and upgraded for many years. So we take at face value that with heavy sanctions and inability to produce it in house we must take it as a granted that it works as advertised and at large better than Israel’s.

Again, completely missing the point. NATO is balanced according to info available and scrutinized while Russia gets a buff for balance sake. Two different methods of balancing. So Ariette can be underrepresented but it’s realistic, but Russia is overrepresented and must compete. So why can’t Russia be represented like NATO does even if it’ll suck isn’t that the whole point? Game is balanced according to capabilities of Russia, that’s why NATO can’t have armor, because then Russia will suck. For some reason though, we can’t just put it at low BR without top tier. I doubt anyone here wants Russia to be unconditionally and unrealistically bad, that’s just spiteful, the point is different treatment of shortcomings of different nations.

The whole argument stems from the assumption that every war thunder player plays like there is money on the line each game, which is not a majority of playerbase. Majority of playerbase finds balancing hypocritical and see favoritism, either we assume that majority of playerbase are not worth it and balance for top players or we listen to majority of moneymakers and make an enjoyable experience.

That is not a SEPv3 turret lol. That is just a SEPv2 with some counterweight welded onto the turret front.

Honestly I love how T-90M looks. But it is subjective.

Maybe one day we’ll see the T-90M2 once that has actually been built/revealed.

A T-90M with -11 km/h reverse does seem interesting.

Then I can also say there is no evidence to say it hasn’t been improved. I guess I can learn to play them like you where I rely on squadmates to do all the lifting while I snipe the kills…

Thats not how this works.

Sure buddy. If I was being carried I wouldnt have high avg score and placement :)

Could be even more. I think it was a modified Armata transmission.

Reverser so same top speed going forwards as backwards.

However it will have a limiter same as the Oplot to reduce danger and wear.

This is even worse you’re literally not letting others play the game by taking all the kills, caps, and CAS.

Our average match consists of half the team having 2-4 deaths with 0 kills lol it’s safe to say that even if you don’t kill 20 enemies these guys would still fail to secure a FOC kill.

Those shells don’t physically fit into T-72, 80 or 90 autoloader modules.

It’s T-14 exclusive shells.
