this is more correct. However the german community on the forums is not representative of the overall playerbase that plays germany, just as any community on the forums is not representative of the overall community in the game.
not on the forums, but if you think about it for more than 20 seconds, you would realise that a lot of discord servers have more active people than that. So for example, if i wanted to sway a poll in one direction, i could go onto a discord server and just tell everyone to vote one way. In this case your poll is silly anyway, every nation main wants more things for the nation they main, and noone in their right mind is going to say that germany will never get up armoured versions of the leopard 2’s or a puma with spikes. you need to be patient. These things will come.
No, they are referring to anyone who wants a new MBT for germany, people on youtube, commenting on the news posts, people on the forums, on the reddit, people on the twitch streams, and literally anyone who plays germany, because like i said, noone in their right mind doesnt want more toys to play with.
If we are in the forum and the survey is in the forum, it is redundant to talk about the forum community.
I don’t intend for people on discord or elsewhere to vote, just to get a higher number. By choosing a random sample (175 is a good number), it is hoped that its properties can be extrapolated to the mass of German players. This process is known as “sampling” and allows you to save resources, while obtaining results similar to those that would be achieved if a study were carried out on all German players in WT. For example, medical research uses sampling extensively to collect information about populations.
Discussions on different topics were started on the forum, calling out a variety of problems related to Germany. It seemed to me that it was important, of all these topics, to establish priorities and organize the discussion. That is why the survey was only directed to the places that did so.
For the latter, I’ll give you an example: Japan is getting an MBT and no one asked for one, not even the Japanese mainstream. They want a SPAA. Examples like this are many.
For the rest, I am not going to continue a rhetorical discussion with you. Greetings.
Im sure you dont, but if someone wanted to, the sample size you have is so small that one could very easily massively sqew the numbers. the sample size you have is poor in the context of gaijin making descisions, because they need to consider the entire community of the game, not just the vocal minority on the forums which you are part of.
