Reduced smoke motor

In game we just have the AIM-9M that has a smokeless motor. Although they should be a bit more visible in diffrent conditions, the war thunder devs don’t care about that.
The AIM-54A/C, AIM-120A/B miss their reduced smoke motor.
At high altitude they can be more visible but at a lower altitude it can be closer to smokeless. Same will go for the 9M

It is visible.

Already filled a bug report on it but it got “acknowledged” and nothing

The 9M is visible? Idk i don’t play sim but I see the big red diamond

It more than possible to view
But that translarent mostly
And depends on lighting sometime.

Isn’t the 120 also supposed to have a reduced smoke motor?

Must be

I’d like to add the AIM-9L(I)-1 to this list which uses the same motor as the AIM-9M and would be a nice little buff over the otherwise identical base AIM-9L(I) we have in-game for the ICE as well as future German and Italian aircraft

it doesn’t, aim9li is literally aim9m type seekr on aim9l base, it have same engine and should make same smoke as 9l

Yes, you can see it in the list above

I am not relly informed on the 9li but he said the 9Li-1 so i guess that it is different from what we have in game

Yep, AIM-9L(I) was AIM-9Ls retrofitted with IRCCM. L(I)-1 were new-build missiles with an integrated instead of add-on IRCCM module and the reduced smoke motor of the AIM-9M instead of the ordinary one of the 9L. The L(I)-1 is also described as having vaguely “improved performance” but in terms of what is definite and unclassified, the only difference between the two is the reduced smoke. Both Germany and Italy used both versions with the L(I)-1 replacing the L(I) as L(I) stocks depleted (since the L(I) was a conversion of existing 9Ls)
