after the last update, clicking play on steam and opening the launcher and then opening the game causes the game to crash after a few seconds.
im using proton on steam if thats relevant, my distro is pop!_os

Could you please switch to the native Linux client and see if that works better?
To do this open the “Properties” window for War Thunder in Steam, Then go to the “Compatibility” tab and untick the “Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool” option. Then Steam should download and install the Native Linux client.

i have another issue though, i mainly play on my gajin acc but now when i click play through steam into the game directly or even with launcher it forces me to log in using my steam acc, how can i switch to my gaijin acc?
