Rearrangements to the British Ground Forces Tree

No worries about idk… British kit in the Russian tree? Kind of the same issue but just shoved the other way?

I mean so was the T90 Bhishma which literally had a completely new turret designed for the tank because the Indians couldnt produce the cast turrets so a welded turret was made for them and they put a completely different powerpack into the tank vs what they originally planned again, because the Indians wanted a different pack.

SU-30mki is a similar thing too.

CAC Sabre completely redesigned, but the Bhishma isnt?

A vast majority is not British though and most are asking for things like the Su-30 and Mig-29 to be added to the British TT.

If it was simply about adding british export stuff then why bother adding India as a Sub-TT. Export isnt required for that

Dodging the question lol.

Again, how would it be different adding Harriers, Jaguars, Hawks, Abbot, Centurions, Vijayantas, Mirages, AMX-13s, Hunters and so on to the USSR tree? Which is what would happen lol.

And it’s a Soviet design, not western. Doesn’t fit in the tree.

O… kay? And the CAC Sabre isnt a British design either?

Also not to forget of course, answer the question, how is it the CAC sabre is a complete redesign but the T90 and SU-30mki werent?

FRS51? Sure, whatever. maybe we’d finally get Harrier bug fixes.

Jag? Simply wouldnt be added. Likewise with the hawk. As they have native options for both

Abbot. Still hasnt been added to the British TT because we’ve gotten SA stuff instead.

Centurions whatever, dont care, but again, probably wouldnt be added.

All of what they’ve added to the British TT so far has simply been added so that they can either avoid modeling soemthing unique or bug fixing existing vehicles.

Hunter… Well, they already keep adding those to Germany and France. Soooo? and the rest is French.

So why is the Su-30, Mig-29. Mig-21, T-90, etc etc a good thing for the British TT?

And is it a good idea to ahve one tree with Typhoon, Su-30, Rafale and Gripen?

What’s the point of trees in the first place?

All I see is the possibility for native things or unique Canadian/Australian things being removed in place for largely C&P Soviet stuff.

It’s an Australian, western design. Australia unlike India or South Africa are is still a British realm, was never expelled or left the Commonwealth, is still the ROYAL Australian Air Force, still swear allegiance to the same king and head of state and Australian aircraft already in the tree.

Again, please answer the question. Why is the CAC Sabre a complete redesign when the Bhishma isnt?

I never mentioned it, you did. It’s not anything to do with my statements.

The implication of bringing it up is that India doesnt modify or do total redesigns of systems…

No I never said that at all.

It’s almost entirely irrelevant. Britain actually operated 2 variants of the Sabre for a number of years. We should already have 2.

I think adding a Sabre which swaps out the engine with a Rolls Royce engine and the guns for 30mm ADENs (and I think also can carry firestreaks?) would be a good way to add a RAF used aircraft to the TT whilst avoiding 100% C&P like we’ve seen with the Stela, OSA, Mig-21, etc

Then why bring it up?

You did

Cough.

Never said anything about Indians at all. Please show me where India or Bishma modifications are in that quote.

I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of these changes. Being forced to slog through researching the African vehicles that I genuinely don’t care to play is a massive turnoff. Waste of time researching aswell as the SL required to buy them just to skip them.

I reject this idea and demand that the African vehicles be kept as they were in their own TT branch.

Or just foldered under domestic options entirely.

Like place the TTD under the Challenger Mk2 or Vicker Mk7

Ollifant Mk2 under the Chieftain Mk10

Badger under the VFM5

Like they’ve already done with the ZA-35, ZT3A2, Rookiat Mk1D and Olifant Mk1A.

This way it leaves us with a free line still and we dont have to grind Sub-TT stuff if we dont want them

I’d be willing to accept that compromise.
