After recent updates the raytracing option seems to be grayed out - and can no longer be enabled.
(in dx12 beta mode.)

Yes, it’s available only for Nvidia now
Currently RTX is only for Nvidia, AMD and so on will follow soon but gaijin needs a bit longer for it so we will get it later
We must secure the means of ray tracing production.

Funny, I had ZERO issues using it fully (I had reflections and everything) on an AMD Card when they first dropped it. Thanks Gaijin for basically crapping on AMD users by gaslighting us by saying “We can’t use it”
