So I’ve noticed that ray traced reflections aren’t working in building windows at all - even though this is clearly shown in the graphics settings. Everything is on ultra/max. I’m running a 7900XTX, using TAA on ultra quality upscaling with 4x SSAA. Tested running TAA @ native (no upscaling) same result. Actually the same result regardless what AA setting I use. Not game breaking of course but I like eye candy so a potential fix would be great!
it’s because you are using a 7900XTX, AMD cards have very poor performance and major graphical bugs with raytracing enabled, due to their inferior hardware and drivers
If you’re going to be an Nvidia fanboy, get off the post. After having had Nvidia for almost 15 years and going to AMD, AMD has both better software and drivers nowadays.
My post was specifically in reference to RT, which AMD still has significant problems with, it’s not my fault you’re now experiencing buyers remorse because you’re now experiencing problems the marketing didn’t tell you would occur.
I’m not entirely sure what you’re trying to do, but its just dumb. Provide a solution (that isn’t go back to Nvidia) or get off the post, please. (oh and for reference, a few of those I play with have issues with this exact issue on 4080 and 4090’s - so it seems its a WT issue - not an AMD card exclusive one) I will not be giving you any more of my time.
