I just saw it today. When ray tracing was rolled out i was able to use it. After some time it stopped working and the option in settings is greyed out. Even changing the config.blk file doesnt work. I have RX7800XT GPU and I read at the forum that RT is locked only for NVIDIA GPU now? Is this true?

We are 3 then. Apparently they turned RT off for AMD cards in update 2.41.0.51 on December 4th. Quote from the Patchnotes:
" A bug where it was possible to enable the Ray Tracing option in the graphics settings with an AMD graphics card even though AMD RT is not supported yet has been fixed. We are working on expanding Ray Tracing support and in the future it will additionally be available on AMD graphics cards."

WE ARE MORE, and not just for AMD users, but also for NVIDIA users. I have an RTX 3060 Mobile, and THE SAME THING happened to me as in the first comment. Since yesterday, December 10th, 2024, MY STRUGGLE began because the Ray Tracing option WILL NOT ENABLE. I DON’T KNOW WHY this is happening.

You need to change to Direct3D 12 instead of Direct3D 11.
