Thanks for not answering any of my questions (as always).
One more question, which won´t be answered anyway, but my wasted effort is worth the try for that 0.00001% chance of any forum staff answering.
Since the new graphical features are a huge intervention in the coding. Would you recommend uninstalling the game completely and install it again from scratch along with the update, or do you expect no issues updating the game as is?
Well, it’s a pretty in-depth way of modelling ray-tracing in a graphics engine… Given that I don’t have the best of cards, it’s pretty easy to see why I dropped so much.
You’re saying that loading screens trump in-game graphical improvements?
I’m saying loading screens with actual useful information are going to benefit the entire playerbase instead of the single digit percentage that might be able to use ray tracing.
What? What about the UI needs changing?
Can you even call this an UI? It’s just text on a screen.
Bombers being an afterthoughts in gameplay leads to them being pushed to the furthest away backburner possible.
So them being neglected justifies them being neglected?
frankly, this is useless. ray traced audio would have been far more accessible with significantly more impact.
along with actually good anti aliasing that doesnt destroy top gpu’s like ssaa 4x on 1440p nor introduce any blur.
Hey @Stona_WT what ship is that? I think I figured it out but I’m not exactly sure, ive narrowed it down to being in the US coastal TT and presumably farther down in the TT
Global Illumination is my thing, this distinguish an aged standard of graphics from a modern one so good job.
I do however need to point out that the particle effect in WT is still underwhelming to a significant extend, especially smoke and dust coming from the tracks and exhaustion, I’m satisfied with its texture but here’s the thing: they do not participate in any lightings and shadows alike, pardon for my arbitrary language but it’s incredibly weird to see glowing dust on the dark side of my tanks, or bright white smoke from inside a dark building behind my exhaustion, where everything else is pitch black.
I know for a fact that particles can be very demanding in terms of performance, but I really feels like this is the last bit of puzzle to be rid of any significant artifact on WT’s graphics so please at least give us an option to choose rendering shadows and light for these particles, the same way it behaves like smoke grenade or smoke trail after vehicle getting destroyed.
i know that gaijin is adding a new upscaling called TSR but will there be any updates to dlss to make it better? at the moment even on quality mode it looks pixely
I would love to use the fsr 3.1 in warthunder’s next update, but I’ve tested it in the dev server and its horrible. I used 1440p and quality mode and the game was a blurry mess. Is there a chance that you guys will make any AA work in this game, because right now I can’t use any AA because it makes my game blurry even in 1440p with ssaa x4.
Yeah it’s like that now but in the last dev server it looked like it would keep adding RT to everything in the cockpit until it turned completely black and hard to see
