Theory over in the British weapon systems thread is that the prox fuse is triggering too early

I have done a bug report on this and went open source digging (it wasn’t difficult) to show that the Mk2 specifically is not performing correctly. And the sources are somewhat independent or add details that were omitted. Hopefully they take it on and it stops being an inconsistent ‘hit’ making mess.
love how theyve closed multiple bug reports on this over the past 24 hours for being “duplicates” yet they just rolled out yet another patch changelog with no mention whatsoever of the missiles being fixed lmao

Or the Harrier huds they just added to game.
If they don’t plan on fixing it they should give it back the placeholder Gr.3 HUD like before.
I don’t think Britain is a top priority of gaijins.

real honestly. this has gotta be one of the most bugged updates theyve ever released which is absolutely crazy considering they reopened the dev server like twice lmao. youd think theyd have their stuff sorted by now

It is a bit silly yes.
They have however fixed most of the major bugs as well as small things like the F-5 CCIP removal, yet they can not seem to get other things done in a timely manner.
I’m just seeing what happens when the dust settles slightly, seeing what happens after they collate some bugfixes, and HOPEFULLY these things get to a good place, but maybe a longer dev server test may improve this in future…
I think the best course of action is to remove the proxy fuse entirely from the mk1 missle and add the SAP-HE warhead that it had in real life, also making it somewhat useful against lite tanks. For the mk2, they should give it the 1.4kg multipurpose heat warhead, making it similar to the rbs 70.
