Also limited stock SARH and guaranteed A2G for all rank VI and VII
Yeah, but given the choice between 8+ or none at all, I know which I’d pick. This is Gaijin we are talking about. Always ask for the bare minimum and you might get it
You just reminded me that we have to actually grind for dumb bombs with the Jaguars. Which is decidedly painful.
Idk, but they literally never played an in game match with that account. So, they for sure cannot post messages on the forums, but apparently can still vote on polls.

Uhhhhh… 56 years ago? LOL!!!

His opinion comes from when he flew in Vietnam
Oh, you mean the EW mechanics that Gaijin will definitely lock behind a modification if they ever make chaff stock? There’s no winning with this company
It is a Freemium game brother. Best way to play is with Premium Account. I still agree that certain modifications should be stock, like chaff, but I also think that imposing a grind to spade a vehicle is NOT extremely bad either. With Premium Account I can spade a vehicle often in one or two days. It’s not a big deal for me, even with top tier/BR vehicles.
I have said it before, and I will say it again: If something is “free” then YOU are the product. People who choose to play the game without Premium Account take 4x-6x+ times longer to grind tech trees and spade vehicles. Not to mention not having enough SL’s to purchase everything they unlock. Those who play for “free” spend their time instead of currency, and become “cannon fodder” for other players.
I choose the Premium Account route. I get it on sale 50% off, I pay less per year for Premium Account than I do for any other game that sells yearly expansions for $60-$80 or more.
Again, I still agree that Chaff and other super critical modifications should be stock. But I personally do not have an issue with how long it takes to research a new tech tree, nor do I have an issue with how long it takes me to fully spade a new vehicle with Premium Account.
Up- this NEEDS to be addressed.
It’s indecent that, on 16 vs 16 matches where everyone has 8-12 Fox-3 missiles… you STILL somehow are expected to play without chaff.
Stock chaff should come not only for Rank IX, but also VIII. But at the VERY least, IX.
pin of shame

No you dont. Its easier with them but you dont need them. I dont use chaffs at all and I successfuly notch or multipath 90% of them. Mainly because limited number of countermeasures on my planes and because in sim are IR missiles much bigger threat so I need all of them for preflaring. Its standardly one of last modification which I research.
But I agree to make chaff stock and ECM, when it will come in future, as modification for top tier so +1.
tbf i voted yes and im still incredibly skeptical Gaijin are even going to address it, let alone implement it. They dont pay attention to DevServer feedback on the forums, something we are aware off ever since the basket addition.
Noone wanted it, noone needed it, they disregarded every poll or feedback post back then and even now.
Hell same thing happened with Kh38MTs, just 0 response from the devs, just hush it all down and disregard it.
So as much as I like to think they might give R9 planes chaff given the “feedback” more realistically they just wont care.
Pvt_Wade only did it for the joke fyi
Saddest part is, I genuinely don’t see them catering to this, but big ups if they do. No reason, other than trying to make the game painful enough to spend $, to not have it stock lol.
When i did the same for the SU30, I spent my time shooting AI ground targets for XPbwherever possible, as wasting my only 2 ARH missiles on aircraft that could easily countered them was largely pointless.
I’d try and save them for shots that would never miss. But damn it was painful
At leats the chaff modifications only take 2-3 games to unlock.
that s good idear!
He’s an ARB main with very good stats.
I think chaffs is not critical in BVR. Those missile launched from 10km away can be notch with out chaff. It’s not critical like flares to ir missiles.
