Rangefinder using metric instead of imperial units set for distance

The rangefinder uses metric units / meters instead of something consistent with using imperial units in settings. Is it not possible to use freedom units for the rangefinder?

Is the scope you have in imperial?
If yes then it’s an issue if not then it isn’t.

If you are talking about laser rangefinders then it’s even less of an issue

I mean the units used for sight distance control so I guess yeah for the scope. When I use sight distance control it’s in meters even if distance is in imperial units.

Oh so your rangefinder gives you yards or what and the sight is in meters?

I have it set to miles in the distance settings but all of the rangefinder / sight distance control measurements show in meters.

I mean if the rangefinder and sight are both the same units does it really matter?

Just think of it being in yards.

Yeah, because metrics are used in warfare instead imperial

you can use incorrect units if you want, its in settings

I was taught meters in elementary school.
Meters are freedom units as well.

But if most other units in the game can be changed why not this one? More options doesnt hurt anyone

Because no military on the planet uses anything other than meters for firing distance.
Even miles are defined as meters in the United States military.

Thats irrelevant to the game, I can have every other unit in the game be imperial except this one
