Random CPU Temp Spike Crashes Game/PC

Specs:
Windows 11 Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100
AMD 5800X3D
RTX 3080 TI
32 GB RAM

So it seems this is the only game that crashes. I’ve been suffering two types of crashes.

  1. Main menu crash:
    Game stays in the background, but I can no longer control it. It freeze and displays my Windows cursor.

  2. PC crash:
    Screen goes black and eventually all sound stops. I ran Hwinfo and logs show CPU temps on avg 70-74 C then right before the crash it spikes to 90C within 5 seconds.

No clue what is causing the CPU temps to spike like that.

Reinstalling / Updating Chipset and GPU drivers didn’t work. Turning on Vsync so its not overworking GPU didn’t work. I undervolted CPU and GPU and the game didn’t crash after 1 long session. I’ll see if it continues. Max CPU temp this session was 76C with avg 64C.
