So on Xbox there is a person with the gamertag of zman SSG who is offering to grind people’s accounts in return for golden eagles. I would never do such a thing but others have and this person I believe is stealing their accounts. I do believe this man is also one of the few Xbox community bad actors know as SSJ Hydro(if you know you know). He has already taken over the account of Mase11Man. I am raising awareness of these scams I see on the Xbox group post system. Do not listen to them as not only is it a way to get your account stolen but doing such a thing will result in a ban. If anyone reads this and sees similar posts, we need to compile the evidence of this in order to put a stop to it. Report the posts to Microsoft and report these scammers to Gaijin(if we are lucky we can get them out of here fully.)
Anyone who does have their account compromised should hit up support asap, and be sure to change their passwords and all that normal security stuff.

2FA all the way, and secure your recovery email addresses.
The problem is their gaijin accounts aren’t just compromised, so are their Microsoft accounts. Considering how Microsoft knows not how this works, they won’t ban them unless the post is reported on mass. And since the looking for group post isn’t being reported by more than me and maybe 2 to 4 other people, that won’t happen. I am hoping by raising awareness here I can at least deny their ability to cause as much harm.

Problem, once that password is changed you have to get Microsoft to just shut down the account lol(know that from when my original Xbox account got hacked years before war thunder made it to Xbox). Second problem, the people falling for this are children who don’t know what they are doing.
If a proper moderator who can deal with these bad actors and help deny their ability to cause harm could contact me that would be appreciated as I would gladly provide evidence of their posts. After all I do not like these bad actors and nobody else does.(will be asleep after 11 PM EST so if I am contacted, expect a response later on)
Everybody knows what they’re doing when they fall for this, and the way to avoid it is to have 2FA on, and password recovery emails set so they can lock them out.
