The aircraft was capable of single-pilot operation from either seat. This was designed to work properly even if there was a bullet penetration of the structure.
The radars would have to see it first. The RAH-66 could detect targets 40%75% better than the Longbow Apache, without being seen. If gaijin does it right ( we all know they wont ) you should be able to sit in the clouds at 3 KM and be undetectable by even the Pantsir S1, I.R Anti airs like the Strela, Tor, Stingers shouldnt be able to lock this helicopter.
I think it would be best to point it out here, but the Stinger loadout is fictional. There is no “16 Stinger” loadout or something. The most a Comanche was seen with Stingers was on a triple vertical rack (which I assume is on a mockup Comanche), and it’s the only one I know of thanks to a user. The concept/proposal for that high amount of stingers remained as paper, or so I guess as no irl images resurfaced.
Wondering the same america has been in need of fire and forget missiles for awhile now but i cant possibly imagine gaijin adding the longbow hellfire on the commanche and not the apache
But interestingly they are adding the variant of the commanche with the longbow radar
The YAK-141 never mounted real weapons, only mockup examples of existing weapons, yet, it has all of them.
If you want to make the argument that the Comanche cant get anything that is a mockup then we might as well only give it it’s 20mm cannon as well, given it never mounted anything other than mockup missiles.
Per your metric, all loadouts are fictional given none of them existed or were mounted IRL.
Great to see Gaijin made it invisible to the Strela, as it should be:
Now they just need to change the radar signature so its the least detectable from the rear
But unfortunately, they never seem to have succeed in mounting the stinger and by 2001, Only gun, hellfire and Hydra were to be fired, and integration of stinger was stopped:
