stealth helicopters arent a thing
because the rotor blades are massive on radar
the idea behind the RAH-66 might have been to build a stealth helicopter, but that is just not possible, unless you find a way to build a helicopter without a main rotor

well the F-117 in ARB is at a BR where basically no radars exist
and for ground, the maps are just to small for stealth to work, we are going to have the same problem in ARB whenever 5th gens are being added, radars are going to be way too powerful, weapons will have alot of range and the maps will be to small
uhm… I’m confused, do you mean air realistic battle? did I miss something, does the F-117 have guns, or AAMs?

iam trying to say that atleast in ARB it is at too low of a BR for its stealth to make an impact

It will most likely be just a cool looking helicopter, and that’s about it.

You do realize the Comanche partly failed because it barely changed the radar cross section of the helicopter… right?
The rotors are what cause the bulk of the radar cross section, no amount of stealth coating will notably reduce the radar signature.
Maybe, but in GRB F-117 is very good.
Stealth is more of a gimmick than anything and i dont really understand what you expect them to do?
The US was pretty much the only nation to adopt stealth aircraft up until the last 15 or 20 years
For example the SU-57 cannot come until its direct competition the F-22 comes and its likely they both would come in the same update
F-117 can still very easily be picked up on radar by aircraft anyway and i expect future stealth aircraft to be pretty similar in this regard
Plus the commanche is far from stealth Its low observable at best but still pretty easy to lock

With LOAL irccm long range missiles coming and how radar can see through trees and is able it pick up helicopters hovering at tree line and no fnf hellfire the Comanche is dead on arrival, the stealth did little irl so it probably wont even be modeled in game.

That is a fair point, that I honestly didn’t even think about, but it still raises some questions behinds gaijins intentions, which was the main purpose of the post.

However, to my knowledge, Gaijin doesn’t model the increase radar cross section from the rotors. It’s why they are so hard to lock with a PD radar.
I could see it’s stealth being an important aspect unless Gaijin chooses to model it.

Damn bro, you’re right. US gets F-117 and the Comanche, hell I think USSR needs the Su-57 with its full current loadout. rusia is stronkest in worlds… the west can nevr compete…
It does highlight why it’s how it is now though. Earlier designs tend to be weaker than current top vehicles, hence why they can be added earlier. AFAIK, stealth for other nations would basically mean adding 5th gen fighters now, which Gaijin is working to, but we aren’t yet there.
Unless you have examples of other nation stealth vehicles of similar power as the currently added ones, then I guess you’re right. But I don’t really know of any. What you’re essentially othwerise suggesting with the post is that the comanche and F-117 should’ve been postponed until after the 5th gen F-35 for all update essentially, which may still be quite some time.

stealth is only working when the bombs bay closed. See the syrians SPAA shot down 2 F-117 because of its bomb bay was opened. Stealth doesnt mean that you cant see it on the radar, its just to hard to find it.

the comanche wont be stealthy. rotors light up a PD radar as if it was electronic warfare.
