RAH-66 Comanche

At least stingers were mentioned on Russian stream. For IR/RF Countermeasures you’ll have to wait

MiG 1.44 isn’t a stealth aircraft, nor a helicopter.

You must’ve missed:

Quote ‘general stealth’ unquote

No, I read it. Simply chose to ignore it.

Well, the Russians and Ukrainians have proven the existence of the MT. However, the Russians’ evidence shows that the Su-30SM is not among the aircraft capable of firing it, but rather of carrying it. Only the Su-34, Su-25SM, Su-57, and Ka-52K are available. And currently, there are only two aircraft in War Thunder that can carry the MT. Also the MT seen many times in the civil war in syria.

the rotors on the RAH-66 were made with radar absorbing materials.

and?

it isnt stelath for the same reason the Su-57 isnt

rotors create a huge radar return

The rotors were designed with materials to reduce detection by radar, and shaped to reduce radar returns. It is not the same rotor seen on other helicopters, all of this stuff was already thought of during the Commanche’s development. the SU-57 is jet the makes it harder to detect by radar and still was made to be stealthy.

The mig 144 was a jet specifically designed for stealth why the Russians haven’t built it yet when they could easily produce is a question only the Mikoyan design bureau can answer.

reduce not make it invisible it is still a rotor and no matter of ram coating or shape adjustments will change that

and if it was really that effective, why didnt the US bother with building another “stealth” heli

Uh oh, are we unboxing this?

It isn’t meant to be invisible, the entire point of stealth aircraft (quite literally defined as “low observability”) is reduced detection / acquisition range. If you can track a helicopter at 20km by the blades alone, while the Comanche sits at 10km before detection, it’s a functioning stealth aircraft.

“No matter of ram coating or shape adjustments will change that”? Are you lost? Like… Genuinely, I didn’t think it’s possible to say something so stupid.

Let me try!
No amount of butter or a knife will help you make a slice of buttered bread.
No amount of milk and oats will help you make oatmeal.
No amount of dirt removed from the ground will make a hole.

This is fun!

It wasn’t. The only arguable “stealth” aspect of it was the internal weapons bay that was added years after the initial conformal mounts.

The only stealthy design Mikoyan had attempted was the 1.42… And that never left the drawing board.

I would imagine that 2 bankruptcy claims in the '90s would do it…
