Exactly, really the only people that are experienced in playing multiple nations are able to call out bias. Still can’t get over some frenchies being unable to admit the rafale is the best plane in the game

The problem is that the “average player” isn’t a constant between nations, the playerbase that plays minor nations often are people who already grinded at least 1 major nation and are much more experienced than the average playerbase of major nations. The only exception are premium vehicles.
My personal experience has been that minor nation bias is a heavily exaggerated phenomenon and there are enough exceptions that it isn’t a universal constant.
For instance Rafale isn’t good just because French players are something special on average. I outperform most of them in Air RB while having next to no top tier RB experience lately and I’m playing with HOTAS and first person view.
Pretty much every player that repeats minor nation bias trope is themselves bad at the game.

Rafale isn’t a good example because it is actually OP, but I see lots of instances where vehicles get overtiered because they are played on average by more skilled players, happens more with ground vehicles than air though.

In real life, pilots go into these unrecoverable flap spins by getting into compressor stalls or mid air collision. All other spins were recoverable and had procedure on how to get out of them. Even inverted flatspins.

The F-16AM and the JAS-39A aren’t very good at their respective BRs, but that’s more a case of BR compression than anything.
Minor nation bias is not a big issue for top tier, there are some cases below it but its not as bad as ground.
Can you give an example? I feel like a lot of these overtiered planes that “only the superior minor nation player uses” are just planes with very easy gameplans like zeroes where you turn your brain off and hold S at the enemy, or planes with a lot of guns.
Here are a few examples that are solvable with the current BR compression by uptiering/downtiering and become reasonably balanced
Undertiered stuff from a major nation
Mig-23MLD, Yak-23 (was downtiered recently, didnt deserve it at all), F8U-2
Overtiered stuff from minor nation.
FG.1, FGR.2, Sea harrier FSR.1 (both of them), Jaguar GR.1A, AV-8S late, Kfir C7, Kurnass 2000, Jaguar A
These are just a few from rank 6-7 I could list many more.
But like I said, it’s not a big deal at air like it is for ground. My point is that balancing vehicles by average statistics is not the best ideia.
So what is your explanation for this? Shouldn’t minor nation one do significantly better than American one?

Gaijin’s entire motto is leapfrog power creep, and the rafale will be replaced soon like all metas are.

I indeed thinks the same way, as the only 5th gen fighter France will get is Belgian/Netherlands F-35’s
Some people should learn to cope sometimes - it is the 2nd time only in this game that France got the upper hand in the game (and the 1st time was given for a period of 3 month only).
Previously, it was USA/USSR hegemony, with some rare moments:
- Japan Mitsubishi T-2(k) (6 months)
- French Mirage F.1C (3 months)
- Sweden J35’s (6months)
- German/Italian G.91’s (6 months)
- Chinese J-10 (3/6 months)
It is the first time in this game, that a non USA/USSR country holds the Cup of META for more than 6 months.

Mica hits multipathers when fired from low alts
No other fox 3 missiles do this. Simple as. I play TT every day and its very easy to notice as it happens all the time.

i play MICA’s, and i know that most of the time MP doesn’t trigger as my ennemy starts going upwards for making a shot at me,… and thus giving me enough time gap to kill them out of MP.
i played against MICA too, and i know that MP Works, when you’re dedicated not to go out of the 0-30m altitude range.
the in-game differences of MICA Seeker are so small that MP isn’t going away like you magically thinks it does.

I also play mica and hit players that no other missile would.
Works both ways.
what i’m saying, is that you hit people outside of MP,…
MP was 0-100m, have been reduced to 0-30m
and it’s easy to go over 30m, even in cruise flight
