gen 5 stomps because of stealth mostly, and gaijin has shown themselves to not be very good at modeling stealth. stealth aside i think Raptor beats Rafale, which would be in line with the trend of December vehicles beating the December vehicle from the previous year
Sorry I should be more specific, the Raptor dunks on the Rafale in a dogfight, stealth or not stealth and it’s not even close.

i have no idea how heavy raptor is, but just due to engines i would assume it has better thrust to weight. those engines are monsters
public figures are 43,340lb. Very heavy airplane
Now, do i think this figure may be a little overstated? yeah, but i have nothing better so it would be pretty dishonest to use another number

I looked through a primary document that had the F-22’s empty weight. This same document has F-16C Block 50 empty weight, and F-18C empty weight and they corresponded exactly to the F-16C and F-18C in-game’s empty weight.
Same document also states 19,700kg for F-22.

I’m anticipating the F-22 being a fat useless brick and months of bug report battles to get it fixed now lmfaooooo it’s gonna be an interesting year I made such a good choice to come back to the game now.
meant it’s just gonna compress a lot. compare su-33 and su-27 for example, su-33 has more lifting area due to canards but just due to sheer weight (19 tons compared to 16.3 tons) it’s an utter brick at high speed
low speed doesn’t really matter, but at high speed it’s gonna compress a whole lot
In-game modeling seems like the heavier an aircraft is, even if it has better TWR than lighter aircrafts, it still will bleed speed more excessively than lighter aircrafts.
