Tbf jokes aside, this maybe because F-16C and F-15E recently got buffed, since American Winrate is increasing last month. Since British EFT winrates also decreasing due to they always teammed up with Rafale, ironically, the Italian EFT still sits at such lower winrate.
That’s the exact reason.
Rafale feels so boring on these days, it needs better counterpart for challenge.
It ALWAYS felt boring, idk why itd take someone 9+ months to figure out that its not fun to play a 15.3 jet at 14.0

When it was first released it was quite fun due to my love towards it.
Good or not good, I also stopped playing it a while ago for that exact reason, at least in Air RB
I still use it from time to time to get some gun runs on unaware Mi 28s though or MICAs on KH slingers
I’m curious, how can you say a vehicle is boring if you never tried it?
Most people become bored with consistent excellence, it’s definely reasonable to stop enjoying a vehicle when it has no strong adversaries

It’s so far ahead of every plane it’s really not close. Anyone that plays with or against it could tell it’s by far the best plane and is massively unfair
Well jokes on you that there ARE more Rafale player with current update, it’s due to weight reduction (probably) brings up curiosity to player that have grinded Rafale to play Rafale again.
It’s actually proved that:
- FIxing other aircraft would make Rafale have more competitive enemies;
- The more the player are the worser the stats, it’s due to newcomers are coming back/really new to play said aircraft. So the argument of “French player are built different” is still pretty relevant WITH SOME CAVEAT

Above is the compared Rafale Player Count last month to August, it correlates well with Tusk Force update that introduces reduced weight for Rafale.
US are the most interesting, that the F-15E got almost 4% winrate increase in just 1 month! It’s the most significant increase since 6 months prior. While it tooks 2 months for Rafale to had (almost) 4% increased in winrate.
But hey the significant increase in winrate doesn’t necessarily meaningful tho?
There are so many US players in this game, a sudden increase of 4% means the US playerbase performs really well after this update which I think really show the positive of how a country in War Thunder can be competitive again if Gaijin cares about their QoL.
The outlier and funny data is, both Rafale and F-15E suffers from decreasing K/D

Here is the caveat, MICA-EM is indeed still the best Fox 3 Missiles in the game, MICA fits so well with War Thunder’s Current Meta. Honestly, if Gaijin couldn’t make other Fox 3 Missiles have more accurate seeker, I kinda wish the reduced the multipath again, so AIM-120 would shine more in these scenario.
Because my experience with Typhoon, I can defensively playing well, but I barely make a kill due to either the Fox 3 Zombies are spamming missiles, or the Rafales that are consistently chasing other players, it doesn’t really reward well for a player that can defend the early jousing.
I have the jet, Ive played it in sim before I put it away cuz it was such a bore to play. I pretty much stopped playing air RB over a year ago cuz its a horrible gamemode and I’m suprised players still waste their time playing it. You arent the first person to try to accuse me of not having it lmao

IMO it wasn’t op when it first came out… at least that’s when I first got it.
It really only became cancerous after they started to give it more cms, fm buffs, changed the number of missiles… etc
Went form top 3 ish plane to by far the best only after like 3 or 4 months after its release
They did that basically right away… it was only out for like 1 month, if not less, before they increased its missile and CM count.

The plane had 8 MICA, HMD, and the erroneously buffed flight model within the first month that it was released. There was never a point in which it was balanced.
