MICA EM is better than Aim-120C5 in 99% of engagements… So no idea why you are even mentioning them.
Magic II and MICA EM are better than any missile currently found on the Typhoon. Guess its time to remove them then

French stuff for some reason is the only missile that gets a reduced half angle sensitivity in their fox 3s. That’s bias

The Eurofighter page doesnt actually state when the flight took place and could very well be referrencing the BAE flight from a year before
It was reported for it while it wasn’t for other missiles, (atleast at the time back then).

but only him,… since the others (Germany/Spain) wants ECRS Mk1, and it’s unfinished yet.

The first production radars have already been completed and could very well already be installed. It is reasonable to assume that htey would have flown test and evaluation aircraft with a pre-production model a while ago. Long before ECRS Mk2.
Oh, it states Rafale C? News to me.
Per most sources they are being delivered with the first Quadriga planes this year. Its pretty safe to assume that WTD61 already did a couple flights with it, they wouldnt put the radars on extremely expensive production models if they didnt test them
It’s pretty reasonable to assume it’s Rafale-C considering document pertains to a country that does not operate aircraft carriers.

It’s certainly odd that a Rafale C with 50% fuel and then 1,200kg added on top of it (Rafale M weight difference) fits the charts to a tee besides the highest-altitude chart. Oh and a Rafale M is shown in a photo.

Yes. The Italians havent made an official decision yet (I think). But for the sake of parity, they will likely just get the CAPTOR-E as well.
Much like how they got BOL and Skyflash SuperTEMPs on their Tornado ADV, even though I dont think it ever equipped either and the only reason the RAF F3 got Stage 2G was because a doc was found showing the Italians upgraded their radar as well (they wanted to keep them identical)
