I expect J10C to be the best competitor in terms of 1v1, followed by su-35, but Idk whether they will introduce PL12A and how great will the new Chinese engine be in the game.

J10A has absolutely insane nose authority especially at low speed, so it’s def formidable in the late game. The longer it survives the better it becomes.

However Air RB isn’t 1v1. With the vapor cloud change, as well as the stupidly terrible drags J10A gets, J10C just can’t simply be too aggresive or run away when things aren’t right. Meanwhile the lack of top speed undermines missile performance greatly.

So now it seems Su-35 will be better in mid-long range engagements with those R771s.

As for J16s, you’ve seen how they treated US and Chinese tech trees. They haven’t added a single PAR jet to US and Chinese tech tree until this update, introducing the terrible F15CGE. I suspect they wont be adding J16s before su57 comes out.

This is true, and not only rafales benefit from this. Su30 and typhoons also take advantage of their missiles with better retentions and can launch earlier.

Yeah I highly doubt the J16 is anywhere near being added tbh, with the J10C in the files and the Su30mkk leaked (to be added after the jh7) I can’t really see the chinese getting 3 jets at once.

I really hope they can modify this terrible missile rack drag.

However after seeing what F15C GE is like, J10C might just be a J10A with the exact radar( only with the ability of knowing what your enemy is), missiles and a slightly better engine at 14.3.

Has been for nearly a year, but gunna be nice to not have a giant beacon to your pressence in everything from heavy bombers to top tier jets again.

Tornado F3 is one in perticular that will enjoy this change. Especailly in ASB.

I forgot which part, but iirc it’s just the AESA HMD though, so Su-30SM and Rafale now have better HMD Lock.
