Yeah that’s the better angle gating. The notch area is the same but MICA needs you to be faster and a greater change of direction to defeat the angle gating

Still no clue why the MICA is the only missile that is allowed to have the improved seeker despite bug reports being excepted for other missiles like the AIM-120…

i mean, it took me 3 years to get a Radar and CCIP/CCRP on-board Etendard IVM, using primary sources,… so it might be depending on the internal Gaijin process (unless the process is that any Devs choose on what he’s working on,…)
Far as I know there’s no rhyme or reason to their method of determining what to fix next. Schizophrenic people would complain that they have some sort of bias, but they need to get a grip on reality. The only pattern we have observed is that there is no pattern to observe.

→ in your top 30 played : only 5 of them got Positive/OR/Even Kill/Death ratios
→ in your top 5 KD : only 1 got a KD ratio over 1.5 (1.51 on your MiG-23MLD, an aircraft considered one of the best at it’s BR so far)
→ the KD ratio average based on those 30 aircrafts (excluding Ar234C because the 6/71 KD on it was too low, and i took the 31th for the calculation)
K/D ratio = 0.84321
K= 3910 kills
D= 4637 death

You know what I love? People who think they know military systems from playing a severely biased and nerfed milsim computer game! There is a reason the F-22 Raptor is the top 5th Gen Fighter and your alleged “Armchair General” military knowledge doesn’t hold a candle to real world mechanics. But still doesn’t change the facts that the Rafale is over buffed in this game and the F15GE and AMRAAM AIM-120C-5 is nerfed in its current form my guy.

Buyt still technically related to the topic when a Rafale is shaking off AIM120 c5 and 120A & B’s like it aint no thang. Now that being said since the last update I have killed a number of Rafales and SU30MK2’s since going live. Now our issue is the US TWS on the F15’s is basically funking off to whereever. and tracking wrong tatgets targets going ghost even as they comme dead at you.
Btw the tws issues isnt just for US planes with aesa

Nah.
When Rafale was introduced it didn’t had any real counterpart compare to SM2 and AESA Typhoons.
Current situtation is much balanced than before, although VnE buff and MICA range buff would be welcome addition to Rafale tho.
People were making about SU-30SM2 before it even left the dev server. Rafsle mains have also been crashing out over it and it hasn’t even been a month since the update.

However the situation is arguably worse because for some reason gaijin added objective upgrades of 14.3s at 14.3.
I’d still rate the Rafale above everything but the SM2 until other ARH missiles receive the same seeker buff that Micas got.

SM2 componsates seeker difference with quantity of missiles.
Not to mention new engines gave incredible flight performance which was the main issue with base SM.
Upon all jets SM2 is the last one that deserves seeker buff right now, as for the Aim-120’s and AAM4’s they can be buffed.

This probably doesn’t qualify as crashing out, but there were already people asking for Rafale buffs in the changelog thread because the Gaijin finally added some counterparts to the Rafale.

It’s probably a combo of the Rafale being stupidly dominant for so long and leftover resentment from the last year, when Rafale players would ask for a buff every time another nation got even the smallest hint of getting a buff.
Prime example is when AIM-120C-5 was added.
