Radfkampfwagen 90 has no chance at 9.7

you would be surprised… at how many time i’ve thought that mattered, only for them to fire anyways.

you could hit the ammo to these russian tanks and nothing happens. https://youtu.be/BoTBoGZJebg

Not russian but soviet, plus it’s not really just soviet tanks which refuse to have ammo explosion in game. Some tanks dont need theur blowout panels even because of the ammo just blacking out and nothing else happening.

Plus that doesn’t really connects to topic man.

WOw… Low caliber HEAT… Idk, try to throw needles, it will work the same

did a little comparison on wiki.warthunder.com
Pro’s of RAD90:

all stats from GFAB (mode that i play)

  • great Hp/t ratio at 51,4, runner up is 41,4;

  • basically a MBT turret with 122mm of armor, the rest doesn’t even come close;

Con’s of RAD 90:

  • NVD, so no TVD for either gunner and or commander;

  • No LRF so no fast adjustments to aim;

  • No LWS so no indication when targeted by air;

  • In GFAB very high visibility of 136%, which basically means how i see it, a crew with base spotting and identifying range of 1 km, will spot RAD 90 at 1,36km. only ZLT11 has same stat, M1128 has 167%!!!

Compared to other wheeled vehicles at or near that BR in GFAB!:

Rooikat MTTD / 105 [9.0]

  • less armour;
  • 84% visibility;
  • LRF, TVD;
  • faster turret travers +25 d/s
  • MTTD uses DM23, 105 uses DM33;

Type 16 [9.3]

  • less armour;
  • 113% visibility;
  • LWS, LRF, TVD;
  • comparable shell;
  • less gun depression; at -6;

ZLT11 [9.7]

  • less armour;
  • 136% visibility;
  • less gun depression -5;
  • LWS, LRF TVD;
    -way better APFSDS round 491mm and ATGM with 750mm

Cent 105R/VRCC [9.3]

  • less armor;
  • 84% visibility;
  • LRF, TVD, LWS on VRCC;
  • less depression -6;
  • same round;

CTCV 105 HP [9.7]

  • less armour;
  • 84% visibility, which is strange because this thing is massive;
  • LWS, LRF, TVD;
  • 5 sec autoloader, same round;
  • Falaric 105 ATGM

M1128 [9.3]

  • less armour;
  • 167% visibility, so spotted even sooner at 1,6 km with previous example;
  • less gun depression at -5, but faster traverse;
  • less rounds carried, but far superior round with M900 @ 522mm;
  • LRF, TVD;

the only thing that comes closer and still sits lower is:

Class 3P [9.0]

  • same and in some area’s better armour;
  • same visibility;
  • less forward but same reverse speed wit 36.6 hp/t;
  • gets LRF with NVD;

cannot match RAD90 in mobility but does in almost everything else.

Comparing it to the 2S25 [9.3] or M [9.7]:

  • tracked so better maneuverability in Cities and confined area’s;
  • even better hp/t ratio;
    -2S25 has reverse gearbox, so just as fast forward and reverse
  • LRF, TVD;
  • Faster turret with less depression;
  • better rounds with:
  • 2S25 3BM42 @ 457mm and 9M119 @ 700mm
  • 2S25 3BM46 @ 532mm and 9M119 @ 700mm

the only downside to these two is the -5 gun depression and light armour (which is shared between all lights, just the RAD and 3P have it) and still have a lower or the same as RAD 90 BR.

Pretty sure all Cv90105 and 2S25M sit at 10.0 BR. But where is account for the mobility? Radkampfwagen 90 beats most if not all of these while having better armour.

i play GFAB that is the data i used, and i tried to limit it to other wheeled.
Tracked will always outperform wheeled on tough terrain and can pivot turn, with exception of the AMX-10 RC, no wheel can do that.

and that was a bullet item, great turret armor and above 50 hp/t, which indeed no other can match

and as i stated both 2S25 version have a better Hp/t ratio then RAD 90.

yeah but both os 2s25s are limited to max 70 kmp compared to 100kmp of Radkampfwagen

I can understand how it’s difficult to spot targets while moving at those speeds without thermals, and I do believe it should sit at 9.3, but it’s not horrible at 9.7 if you play it right.
