So ive been seeing this issue for several months now but basically no matter the targets heading once they reach a certain point below the radar the TWS will auto cycle off of them despite the radar tracking them fine
Ive seen this happen no matter the radar set too but mostly on ESA radars as shown in the SU-30MKM
Every time the soft lock flashes is me hitting the select target button which will hold for a few miliseconds before cycling off and In these situations im forced to hard lock them in order to get a fox 3 launched vs being able to just fire on TWS as i normally would
It just seems strange because the issue only happens in TWS and if i dont hit the select button and instead just watch the scope the radar is tracking the aircraft perfectly fine additionally if i hardlock it works fine too
Which leads me to believe its some weird jank with TWS cycling below a certain angle to the aircraft
But idk
