this issue has been around for so long, sometimes when i get a radar lock and click shoot the missile won’t shoot or even spool up, its like my pilot is having a panic attack. this issue is so annoying. although it never happens in test flight, please fix this gaijin i beg

No it’s not that have happened many time to me I can just keep the radar lock and keep hitting the missile button for fire it just won’t

Are you talking about the issue where they turn on for a second and then immediately turn back off? Cause I’ve had that issue with ir missiles too.
I’ve had it the most with r77’s though.
I only ever experience this on the MiG-21S (R-13-300) and the R-3R missile where I have to spool the seeker three times in a row often resulting in a death or lost kill because it refuses to spool the first time in a head-on while the enemy is 1km-4km away.
Doesn’t always happen but happens enough to be a notable issue, cant say I have personally experienced it on any aircraft/missile outside of that though. I chalk it up to being a incredibly unreliable missile/radar combo but who knows really.
Okay I managed to replicate the problem and created an issue: Community Bug Reporting System
It is 100% a bug, it even shows a missile approach timer for a non-existent missile.

You mean like you have lock on to the plane right? and when you press that button for the radar missle it just show up then it disappear then you gotta press that button again so it will show up again and lock. Is that why you meant?
