The F-16C PoBIT would likely land at 14.3, though I wouldn’t be surprised if Gaijin pulled a Super Hornet and pushed it to 14.7 initially because… reasons.

It is entirely possible that the next addition won’t be the PoBIT just yet, but rather something like the F-15EX. That would be the most logical candidate to bridge the gap for the USA’s lack of a true 14.7 aircraft. If Gaijin adds the PoBIT and places it at 14.7, it will likely sit there, despite the inevitable outcry, until further decompression or a BR adjustment.

Either way, whether it helps top tier US is up for interpretation. Many players want an AESA radar in an F-16 because they prefer that flight model over the F-15 or F/A-18E. It certainly wouldn’t be a slouch in an uptier. Since you already face Rafales and the like in the 13.7 F-16C, the matchmaking doesn’t actually change that much in the grand scheme of things; you would simply have a better radar & weapon in the form of the AN/APG-83 SABR and AIM-120D to fight back.

With the amount of Aussie vehicles that have now been added to the game, with all but one being UK TT, it would seem unlikely we’ll ever get a CANZAC TT. We must hope and pray for the nation folders mechanic, then we could get an entire ANZAC tree that can still be used in conjunction with the UK tree. Moving the vehicles across would be fairly easy to do then.

I’m just disappointed that the US is not getting 2 seater hornets at all, like the D/F variant. now I have to grind Japan for the F/A-18D and now the UK for the F/A-18F. thanks gaijin

i dont think they would just drop it probably not yet

Yeah, a bit disappointed. All of the tanks are either premium or event.

It doesn’t mean there won’t be in the future, right? After all, France already has two identical Rafales

not identical, one is slightly better and one is slightly cooler

In the case of the Rafales, not only are they not identical, they are two different roles and thus can fit into two different lines. One is a carrier capable fighter with all the relevant modifications to support carrier operations, whilst the other is a dedicated land based fighter. As such, they can fit two different lines.

Currently the F/A-18F doesn’t have any home in the research portion of the branch that would suit that. So its not under consideration as a researchable aircraft for the US tree for now. As they have another aircraft planned this update.

And what role is that? Anti ship? Oh wait they have the exact same loadout without anti ship weapons. Oh wait destroying anything that is not a player controlled plane doesn’t matter in ARB.

It it’s not even the same plane. It’s straight up worse. Worthless SL/RP sinkhole.

For you perhaps. However the Rafale M was a common suggestion from the French community too. We were not going to ignore the other significant variant of the aircraft. Each with their own specific targeting pod.

Its always possible weaponry could change in the future too, as other systems are introduced.

If 300 votes is enough to represent France playerbase then surely ~3.5K is enough to represent the ARB playerbase. France is one of the ten nations we have in game after all.

But you are going to ignore this. Alright.

Forum suggestion topics and their polls are not the only metric used to judge if an aircraft is desired or not. That has never been the case.
