In the case of the Rafales, not only are they not identical, they are two different roles and thus can fit into two different lines. One is a carrier capable fighter with all the relevant modifications to support carrier operations, whilst the other is a dedicated land based fighter. As such, they can fit two different lines.
Currently the F/A-18F doesn’t have any home in the research portion of the branch that would suit that. So its not under consideration as a researchable aircraft for the US tree for now. As they have another aircraft planned this update.

And what role is that? Anti ship? Oh wait they have the exact same loadout without anti ship weapons. Oh wait destroying anything that is not a player controlled plane doesn’t matter in ARB.

For you perhaps. However the Rafale M was a common suggestion from the French community too. We were not going to ignore the other significant variant of the aircraft. Each with their own specific targeting pod.
Its always possible weaponry could change in the future too, as other systems are introduced.
If 300 votes is enough to represent France playerbase then surely ~3.5K is enough to represent the ARB playerbase. France is one of the ten nations we have in game after all.

Forum suggestion topics and their polls are not the only metric used to judge if an aircraft is desired or not. That has never been the case.
What might be other metrics? No one has asked me about what planes I want in the game.
And no other thing except the forum is directly linked to my in game account so how can you be sure that people posting on social media even play the game?
Rafale M and F/A-18F are both completely useless additions. What’s the point of adding these naval planes when they have much better counterparts and your adding with no unique naval ordnance because you are too lazy to add something unique for once?

Because to use the forum, you need to play at least 1 game each day.

We monitor all platforms, media and spaces for discussions, interest, suggestions and other ideas. Its never been the case that there is only one avenue. We have a global community, many of whom don’t even use the forum.

Carrier exist and one more way to rearm in sim and realistic battle.
Plus f18f is for Australia who dont relate to usa side.
Adding to usa is a complete waste of time of coding and money.

Both cap off their respective lines in their respective trees. The UK tree does not have a Superhornet, and the F/A-18F was the variant exclusively used by the RAAF (as they did not use the E). It helps also bring the UK naval line into Rank IX.
By this same logic, we should also not add any more new WW2 era vehicles because “they have much better counterparts” already? People wish to see choice and options. The game is not just about whats meta best.

If you are going to copy paste a plane where the only difference is the landing gear then no, you shouldn’t add them.

F/A-18F is more than capable of being foldered with the F/A-18E, we already have multiple instances of WW2 aircraft with even smaller differences being foldered, which there are plenty of examples of.
Why is there a different policy when it comes to modern aircraft?
I understand the US is getting another aircraft, but why can’t the US also be given the F/A-18F?
Gaijin was able to give both France and Germany the SK-105 after the French asked for it, they gave Britain the Indian Osa when they asked for it. Multiple top tier aircraft for one nation isn’t a new thing, Japan got 3 rank 8 aircraft last update and 2 in Storm Warning, .

There are other differences between the two than just the landing gear. We have many vehicles like this in game.
You have made your personal opinions very clear. But it doesn’t mean others did not want to see this aircraft.
