you have like 20 games in the pantsir, just show us going against 13.0 planes.
hell even the buk m3, show us how op is with its trash radar.

I imagine witch is why I was saying I doubt that the r37 would notch that high it’ll probably have the same effects of lofting as the aim54
can’t hit a stationary helicopter btw, so op
that’s just multipathing though
Notching will/should be a multi-stage process for missiles like the R-37 that have two-way datalink. You can notch the missile, but it’ll still follow you because you hadn’t notched the plane which won’t be hard as they’re basically both coming from the same general direction, just a bit tricky.
If you want to practice, get 2 friends. Tell one to fire an R-77-1, the other an R-27ER and relative to you there should be a roughly ~30 degrees difference between them. This should simulate a “normal” launch of such a missile.
@Gunjob and/or @Macron-Spokesman just so I’m getting this right… missiles with two-way datalink (I know it’s sort of implemented in-game right now with the less accurate IOG data received from mothership), would they still reacquire/track targets silently (as in, no consistent track tone) if the onboard seeker loses lock and prioritises the mothership’s radar? Of course, it would still show as a ping on RWR as it’s still in TWS. This would make such missiles akin to a long-range IR missile (with limited indication that it’s coming) such as the R-27ET, no?
I’m personally of the opinion it’ll maintain the same implementation (ie missile’s radar still “looking” or tracking despite not actually doing so, to still give the player an idea of where the missile is relative to them, tracking or not). Just curious
yeah…
No… it’s not. It’s called physics. radar can’t see something that’s basically not moving. So to the missile you’re invisible. Same in helicopter, same in Harrier/VTOL jet. This won’t work against IRIS-T SLM (unless D/LDIRCM-equipped Helis… ffs)
(I know, multipath effect is also physics)
anyway back to topic so we don’t get this thread shut down-
Do we have any idea on what the “new” US fighter could be?
Oh I meant lofting not notching my bad
A dev blog forum post? shut down?

Well by design it’s basically an air to air ballistic missile, so it kind of has to loft super high anyways.
how about ‘muted for not following topic’ or something among those lines then?
let me cook

Will we maybe see a new devblog tomorrow?
Its the weekend tomorrow, so that would be a nope :)
I guess maybe Monday perhaps? :)
Everything is subject to change, though. We’ll see :P

will the F/A-18F eventually be added to the US tree or no? missed in in case you answered that earlier.
no bruh
Imagine wanting to grind the same jet twice only for an additional seat and nothing else
