Hard to judge without actually seeing the footage.
You need to choose targets carefully while launching them.
Don’t launch at enemies in a furball, as both your team and enemies are flaring.
It’s best to launch at heavy fighters like F15, and especially when you feel like your enemy is flying alone and has no idea where you’re at.

I’m aware my point is I have zero luck with them working in any given situation they just horrible miss.
they do work but they are a very niche and specialized IR missile compared to all the other missiles. Ambush and stealth is the best to make them work, yes there is some luck involved with that but you can say the same about everything else in ARB tbh.

I understand that they can work I’m just personally saying in my experience they just frustratingly seem to fall for any other heat signature and will often times just miss a target they really have no business missing.
