Next Event - General Information
We are running a Pacific Convoy event this Friday/Weekend and are desperately looking for any Coastal or Naval enjoyers who would be interested. This event will be fairly simple an IJN team will form a convoy centered around multiple Arras vessels and attempt to transit through a small island chain. Devil boats will attempt to harass and prevent this convoy from completing their mission.

Friday the 5th of April, 8 PM GMT (20:00 GMT 24hr)

*Japs ONLY get Aircraft as Respawns, either any early Zero Variant or can request a different Aircraft if it was present in the Soloman Islands between 41-43.
How Will it Run?
Convoy team will be given a short amount of time to form up and once ready will begin passage through the island chain with a westerly heading. Once given the green light the Devil boats can start searching for their prey either in one large group or smaller formations, when the two sides meet all hell will break loose. IF the PTs sink All convoy vessels (excluding escorts) they win, IF the Japs manage to transit from one side of the archipelago to the other they win. Multiple rounds may be possible.

I may allow other variants of the Type K sub chasers, MBT-422 as a stand in for any US PT and will allow Duplicates of any Devil boat already taken on the list.

Pacific Convoy Event - Aftermath + Squadron Information
–Event Aftermath–
Considering the lackluster player turn up in end, the Pacific Convoy event went pretty well. Overall the IJN team achieved victory despite the convoy loosing their only escort, they managed to navigate through the island chain, survived all three PT boat attacks and the final desperate Airstrike. We could have done with more players like usual epically for the US team but it was fun nonetheless.

–Squadron Information–
I have yet to actually provide any real information on the squadron so I better do so now. -R1P- RestlessSpirts is open to all active players with an interest in grinding squadron vehicles, we are primarily a naval squadron but not exclusively so and the same goes for our Discord. The Squadron is owned by Cmdr. Tyrael a War Thunder CC who focuses on Naval with a unique interest in coastal but also uploads videos on a number of other Naval and Strategy driven games.

- ALL RECRUITS must sign up on our Discord
- Privates are to maintain 1000 Activity points on Average (Unless Approval is given for otherwise)
- Promotions & Roles are depended on activity in game and on the Discord
- When taking a break from the game make sure to notify us so we don’t accidently remove you for inactivity

Artic Convoy - Event
Next Event - General Information
Keeping up that momentum and moving on to the next event already, this time we will be trying a Bluewater event with a bot convoy which will need to be escorted. This event is inspired by the Artic Convoys of WW2 in particular QP 11 and PQ 15. A Royal Navy/US Navy force will attempt to defend the convoy from three main German attack waves. Firstly a large surface fleet centred around the pocket Battleship Admiral Graf Spee, Admiral Hipper and Prinz Eugen with a number of escorting destroyers. Afterwards a daring attack by S-boats and a final attack from the Air by various bombers. If the Allied Convoy survives all attacks the UK/US team wins if all convoy vessels are sunk the Germans achieve victory.

How Will it Run?
Both teams will require a few minutes to set up the Allied team will need to form a close and far escort for the convoy, while the Axis will need to form up and exit the Fjord they spawn in. Battle will commence once the German fleet makes it into the open ocean, the Far Escort will attempt to destroy or cripple the German fleet while the close escort covers the convoy with a large smoke screen. Once all Axis fleet units retreat or have been sunk the next attack wave will begin.

Just a quick update on the next event, really need to get some more vessels for both teams but the New Orleans are the highest priority. Also there are a number of scout aircraft listed at the bottom of the list which no-one has signed up for as of yet, without scouts both sides will be completely unaware of the others movements. The event itself is in a few days, if you haven’t signed up already there is still time, if you have I’ll see you there!

Artic Convoy - Event
–Event Aftermath–
The latest -R1P- event was quite a blast, we had a pretty decent (for naval) turnout of 11 Players and were only missing one other who had signed up. For once an allied team was victorious and was able to prevent the success of all axis surface/air attacks on the convoy. We are always looking for more players interested in these type of events, our Discord link can be found in any of the other posts in this thread.

ANZAC - Event
Next Event - General Information
This Friday/Saturday -R1P- will be running some ANZAC inspired mini-events. I have created some missions with the Australian and Kiwi vehicles found in game, instead of one large Event we will be trialing some smaller missions and for the first time including Tanks. All Mini-Events will have a Maximum time limit of 20-25 minutes and each mission will start on the hour every hour from 25th April, 7 PM GMT to 25th April, 9 PM GMT. I don’t expect everyone to be able to participate in all missions, the idea is to sign up for the one (or ones) that works best for you. I will be using these Mini-Events to test a few a things like including bots, tank battles, etc for some future Event ideas.

Next Event - Quick Update
Just thought I’d make a quick update on the current state of our event sign-ups. The Naval mission is looking pretty good at the moment with only one Destroyer Slot left, on the other hand the Ground missions have very few players so far. This isn’t entirely unexpected as this will be the first time we will be running a Ground based event and we are primarily a Naval Squadron/Server. Will see wait for the turn up on the day of the event itself but, we may treat the Ground missions a bit more casually and use them more so as a test for future ideas.

Naval Gunfire Support - Test Event
Next Event - General Information
For our first Event of May we will be trying something a little ambitious… This next Event will be trialing proper combined battles with most vehicle types. An Axis Armored force will set up defences in and around a Tunisian town, the Desert Rats will attempt to breach these defences with support of Naval Bombardment. Both teams also have a limited amount of Air support, the Axis Team are allowed to attempt ONE attack on the Battleship with Italian Bluewater vessels (Mostly Destroyers) though smaller consecutive attacks can be done with MAS 555/561/569 Boats (S-boats may be added if necessary). The Allied forces need to gain control of the town to win, if the Axis team still has control by the match time limit they win.

How Will it Run?
I would prefer if most players start off in Tanks but this won’t be enforced. Each team will get a few minutes to set up, the battle will commence once the Axis defences are ready. Aircraft and Naval Units are allowed from the 2nd spawn onwards, it is highly suggested that the Axis Team organises at least one coordinated strike against the Battleship with Stukas and Naval units. If the Battleship is damaged to the extent that only 50% crew remain it will retreat and play on further part in the battle. The team with control of the town by the 45 Minutes time limit wins.
