AIM-120B and AIM-120A are identical in the game so same answer applies :)
The C has shortened fins to fit inside the bay of the F-22 and F-35. So it also fits on the quad racks.
I have have aquestion? why C5 in the it should be better then the B, But in game every one siad the B model are better then C5.
I find it frankly impossible for the C-5 to struggle with turning as much as it does
Like seriously i fired one head-on just now and it came down at around mach 3.5 and it could only hit 11g in the replay making it so they could just barrel roll it instead of going into a defensive position
I get it has less fin area than the A/B but this seems a little extreme…

First i want to clarify that i have no secret knowledge or behind the scenes information and everything i know i’ve gathered from public sources and other players explanations in general. Game Masters only handle in-game chat and name bans and have no insight into development, no contact with the DEV’s and no influence over their decisions.

What about the D model in upcomaing update XD.
I sadly have no idea. I haven’t looked for information about things that are not yet in the game and any data gathered from datamines is very likely to be inaccurate and not worth looking at as nothing is final until it’s on the live server anyway.

to be fair they broke it on the patch then reverted the change no real stats were changed, tho they still do 100% need to fix the C-5

Ngl it feels like the US planes are DOA on purpose sometimes cause if we can get the most Modern Version of the Eurofighter, and Su30sm2 basically brand new aircraft why are we getting Just the Block 2 Version of The F18E at the same br.
Why not the Block 3 with upgraded engines, why even add the F-15GE when based on what jets other nations are getting the US should be on the F-15EX by now.

While things like the F/A-18E/F Block 3 or F-15EX would be nice, the truth of the matter is there’s no real “viable” American jet outside of the F-22 in terms of War Thunder.
You still get the same mediocre missiles with the 4/4.5 gen planes with the only “better” thing about them being missile count. You don’t have superior radar FoR, you don’t get super manoeuvrability–basically none of the things existing jets have.
My advice? Don’t waste time/money on USA jets at the moment unless you’re just that in love with them and simply wait about 6 months to a year for the F-22 when it’ll most likely be the most meta jet out there.
I am not sure it’s the 120 in general. I think it’s stuff like this where there is literally just obscene amounts of clutter for no reason. Add the ghosting that is STILL happing with TWS and you get a bad scenario.
The only thing I have noticed with the 77-1 patch is that it no longer decides to move across country when fired off the rail. But 120 still seems to be critting more and or proxying in weird ways that result in little to no damage to the target.
